QuickBooks Q&A

Hi there - I am wondering if there is a way that I can set up my balance sheet to compare to both the previous year end and the prior month? I played around with the comparison tool in the reporting but so far haven't been able to find a workaround. If I run a report for this fiscal YTD then the PP show the previous FYTD and the PY shows the same thing. Any advice?
Our company moved to a PEO for payroll and benefits beginning on 12/1/24. I need QBs to continue to do job costing for hours worked (time keeping done in QB Time and Intuit Field Service Manager). I finally was able to change preferences to manual payroll and then removed the payroll key. However, now I have no payroll history. I'm trying to reinstall the payroll key, but it is taking much longer than I think it should. Like 45 minutes and still "Updating paychecks..." Should I force it to close or keep it updating?
I made a payment, and it did not process stating monthly payment limit exceeded-
Does anyone know how to stop deleted Projects from showing in the drop down search bar in Projects? I have removed all cache/cookies/history, tried incognito with Chrome, Edge and Firefox, but the deleted Projects keeps showing.
I'm still using Point of Sale desktop because I'm not a fan of Shopify. That said I updated QB Enterprise to 2024 and now my POS 19 can no longer send financial data over. I remember there used to be a workaround when they would lose their integration but cannot remember how. Does anyone know the fix? It was done before through QB support but they're no longer offering support for it.
I have read that only the Desktop version of Quick Books allow for the automatic calculation of early pay discounts for vendor bills.
I entered a Supervisors name in most of my employees in the "Edit Employee", "Employment Info", then enter the Supervisor Name in that dropdown field.I run my weekly paychecks for many employees. Now, I want to run a report of all employees paid for the week, by Supervisor.I've been searching all these reports, and there is no drop-down list for Supervisor or any filters for that specific field.I don't want to use the "Class" list, as that I use already for each union name for each employee. This report helps, if I have 10 Supervisors, where each supervisor has let's say 20 employees working under the supervisor. I need to sort the paychecks to each Supervisor so they can distribute to their workers.Would anyone know a solution to such report?

Hi! I have recently tried twice to deposit a client's check via mobile deposit to my Quickbooks Checking account and I have received an email that both attempts have been unable to be accepted. The check meets all criteria (name, not exceeding allowed deposit amount, signed, etc) so I am wondering what I should do next to resolve this issue? Thank you!
Hello, I had made a payment to a vendor using chase bank bill pay from our business account. the check was lost in the mail and returned uncashed to chase bank. They returned the funds to my business account, then reissued the check and sent it back out. Now in my banking feed, I have extra transactions that I do not know how to match. Can someone help me figure out how to properly enter this series of transactions? Emm
Got the message below for the first time today about six bank accounts after backing up. Happily five have been inactive and closed for over 10 years but I'm worried about the current account. However, I reopened and backed up with no hiccup so maybe there's no continuing problem. Here's the exact message:Permissions: 'Bank Registers: [account name]' does not have an associated entitlement. What should I do? Thanks in advance.
in budget, I can compare budget to last year. I cannot generate a report showing this.
We purchase products from our vendors. We also charge those vendors for certain services. Ideally, I would be able to enter invoices for those vendors and then deduct them from future payments. I've tried using vendor credits, but I am not able to print or send those.
it appears classes appear in alpha order on statement of account. Can I rearrange to have general fund appear first?
