This has begun appearing on my invoices. Where is a web page or summary or explanation of it, so that I may understand it and answer my clients' questions?
Hello, I am hoping you someone here can help me. We have QuickBooks 2019Pro and the Database in on the server. I also have Our version of QuickBooks also installed on this serve. We are having serious uses with Multi-user access. We have three users and have the licenses for 5. We are having issues with these two scenarios. 1) Run the Database manager on the server to enable the company file to be shared. If one user going in first then the other two can. But this user is randomly changing. I have hosting turn off on all the clients. But, somehow it seems to need a user to open it first and that changed from day to day. It also will randomly say the company file is open on a PC and it is not. I have even had it say this when all but on client workstation is trying to open the company file and the others are turned off. 2) if I open QuickBooks on the server and have that version set to host the company file the workstations open in single user mode or have the
I need to verify a date an email was sent. All I can see is "last emailed" date
mobile check deposit has not worked for over three months and checks are pulling up that can only be deposited into my quick checking as we endorsed them with my account number on back
I simply want to navigate to the open questions I am part of in US Quickbook Community> Quickbooks Q&A ... is that so unreasonable? No path that I can find to get there ... hate to complain but QBO is not very friendly after so many years to develop pathways. :-(((
I had 3 checks from donors returned last month for NSF. They were part of batches of multiple checks that were deposited into the bank. I'm not sure how to record these as journal entries. On my bank statement it says 'Chargeback'.
I have been trying to log in for two days! My QuickBooks log in (IM THE ONLY USER) says "we cant find anyone with (insert my email here)". I've called customer service multiple times one CRS said "my account is inactive", another said "there is no issue with your account please log in for me". Another said I needed to talk to someone in the back office but needed to wait till the actual office opened at 9am PST. So i waited until 9am PST and would you just guess "There is no way to get you to a manager or anyone in our back office...." I need to run payroll TODAY!! I'm sure my employee would love to get paid! They said "You will have it done by today." when they just told me it could take 3 days!?!? MAKE IT MAKE SENCE! Also one CRS told me my account has been made inactive due to "Strange login activity?" HOW ARE YOU ALLOWED TO INACTIVE MY ACCOUNT WITHOUT MY EXPRESSED PERMISSION?!?!?!? If there is "strange login activity" should you not contact me first and verify?! or contact and have
On invoices there is a dropdown called Invoice Activity. where does the viewed information come from
I do hundreds of Receive Payments. and the EFT entry is too far down the list to see when I first open the list, and I have to then scroll down to it. Please let me know.
Hopefully this saves someone money by not using this service. It's completely unorganized. The clean up will be overpriced and come out subpar or not complete. The bookkeeping I have received has made my books worse, not better. Go find someone local.
I need to print the check stub for the vendors so they know what invoices to apply to the payment. I called QBO and they said it can't be done. Checks can only print so many invoices and then you need to print a list for them. There has to be a way to do it.
I know it's new, and the accountants here are asking if we can enable it. It seems like it'd be fairly benign, but it's new so who knows. I just don't want it to break anything!
I have an employee that currently has a loan with the company. A check was cut to the employee, and that was setup in QB desktop. They have been paying the loan back a set amount per paycheck. However, I want to forgive the loan, sort of like an end of the year bonus. Should I just journal the loan balance to the bonus account? What is the best way to put this in the books?
Quickbooks Intuit Support helped me set up the new sales tax settings end of August '24.Today, I realized that all the sales tax I have collected has been booked to an incorrect franchise fee (sales tax) payable account. Where/how do I fix this? As an example, I created a new invoice dated 11/1/24 for a current customer. Customer resides in Eureka and location was correctly set in the customer account. The invoice was created and I selected the tax rate of 3% for Eureka residents. The tax amount created correctly, but booked to the wrong sales tax payable account. As you can see on the attached screengrab, the invoice transaction journal shows the collected tax is booking to the Village of Mackinaw Franchise Fee account (incorrect account) and not to the City of Eureka Franchise Fee account (the correct account). How do I make sure the tax accounts are booking to the correct payable account? It’s clearly not set correctly at this time.Where in the
I have manually created several deposits by selecting the appropriate invoice payment etc. However, even after doing this and matching it to the actual bank deposit the next day, it is still showing as 'Undeposited Funds' instead of the checking account. Why is this?
I've noticed that in my yearly P&L, the taxes taken out of my employee paychecks are recorded as well as taxes paid to the IRS & state. The section with taxes taken out of the paychecks is automatically recorded, and the other section that has the monthly taxes paid to the IRS and state are added through the bank feed. How do I fix this?
Last week, I ran a Sales by Product/Service Summary report for last month on an accrual basis. This week I ran it again and it produced different amounts. Can someone please explain this? I also noticed that a product is not in the new report which was included in the previous report.
I pay sales tax every month, sometimes I start them and finish them on different days. I can run a report on QB today and the numbers are different then they were yesterday for a month that ended a week ago. I have it set to cash not accrual. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Thanks for any advice.
When I create a purchase order I can see the part numbers on the PO in the first column followed by the description, Qty, Rate, Amount. When I email the PO to the vendor or create a PDF it removes the first column that contains the part numbers. Originally I was told by QB it was their end and they resolved it, but it's still happening. Any one else experience this and were you able to get it resolved? Thank you.
