Problems with bank deposits matching: some transactions match just fine and others, that are exactly the same type of transaction, return inaccurate matching results and not the sales receipt that it should match to, despite that the sale receipt is open and out there? Some match results return all open sales receipts in the result set and others (same criteria) returns a small subset--no reason why. Contacted QB support multiple times, they scratch their heads, and ask me to jump through hoops and show them the problem and then close the case without ever getting back to me.

Does anyone know of a way to efficiently batch invoice sub-customers with a parent? I have 80 sub-customers with a parent company and I am struggling to do this with any of the interfaces QBO provides.Online Spreadsheet Batch View:QBO invalidates duplicated rows for customers with a parent upon submission. It requires you to MANUALLY go back and re-select the customer from the drop-down to refresh the cell. Also, there is no way to select multiple customers at once in the drop down menu when selecting “duplicate for multiple customers”. You have to manually click each one to append. A check box system would be easier here.Spreadsheet Sync:No field for parent company, so it treats the customer name as a new customer upon upload. No attempt to fetch or match meta data to carry into invoice.CSV Template Import:Several fields are missing which invalidates the method right away.Does anyone have a way around this? Thank you in advance!
This is a long post with several questions - sorry. We have a Cash Box in our home. When we started with QBO several weeks ago, I thought the Undeposited Funds could simply be equivalent to our Cash Box, so I entered the amount in the box as the opening balance (equity) of Undeposited Funds. I have gotten 20 contributions which I've added to Undeposited Funds in QBO and to our Cash Box. Now there are a total of 21 line items in Undeposited Funds - the 20 contributions and the opening balance. Then I deposited money in our bank. The amount of the deposit was greater than the 20 contributions by about $500 U.S. but less than the total in the Cash Box. Now I can't figure out how to enter the Bank Deposit in QBO because: a) There seems to be no way to split the Opening Balance in the checklist to make up the difference. b) If I try to bypass the Opening Balance and enter part of

How do I create a new year for 2025 invoices that excludes 2024 invoices and prior years.
I am the new treasurer in our organization. We have Quickbooks desktop with enhanced payroll. When following these instructions step four in step one and two never become available. IMHO Qbb still sees her as the responsible party? There is absoltuely nowhere to change this. We filed form 8822-B. Changed everything we could within our QBB desktop license. I spent 3 hours online with QBB Payroll help. For them to tell me this ability was discontinued AND just file for a new EFTPS PIN. Which I told them was not the solution. Or call the IRS. The Feds stipulate we can only apply for our 10 digit pin thorugh our payroll software.. Any ideas out there in the community. In both Step one Set up your federal filing method and Step two Enroll in the IRS e-file program option 4 never comes up for a new responsible person to be programmed in. It shows all steps but step four. Thank you for any help. Quarterlies are coming up and I've spent countless hours on this. It is frustrating to p
I'm using Quickbooks Enterprise Solutions: Nonprofit 22.0 and want to set up a bank feed with "Fidelity - Investments & Retirement Accounts", but I don't see it listed in the available institutions. Does it not work with QB Desktop (I do see it listed in QB Online)?

Without the shortcut, I am unable to move in and out of a report without re-creating it every time.

We have already removed the access of our accountant on our QBO Account however QBO still sent them a copy of email for the Payroll tax withdrawal receipt. How can we remove them as one of the receiver of thus mail? Thanks everyone in advance.

I haven't paid the payroll taxes yet.
I contacted quick books tech support but I reached a company by name of Internal Accounting services. Even so they answered the phone as quick books tech support. I was experiencing issues with payroll updates so they requested to remote on my desktop to view my data. They told me that my data file was corrupted thus I couldn't get the updates and I couldn't run payroll through quick books. They asked $2459. I told them that I already paying for this type of tech support because we have the enterprise version. They said the type of data damage wasn't covered by the annual support. They needed 2-3 hours to "fix" the file. I panicked because I was running out of time to have the payroll checks ready to wire the funds to the employees' accounts. I negotiated the amount down to $1049.99 and I gave them a credit card. My credit card company rejected the transaction (which saved me!). I told them I would talk to my credit card to allow the transaction to go through and they
How to change company information on invoice template?
Where can I find the original non-corrected 1099-NEC? Background info: We acquired the assets of another company as of January 1, 2024. We retained two of their former employees temporarily under a contractor arrangement to help in the transition. The employees received a W-2 for 2024, which reflected some wages paid to them by the old company in 2024. At the same time, the former company employees, now our contractors, were onboarded and filled out W-9 forms. There was clear communication to them that they were contractors and helping in the transition. One of our former contractors expected a W-2 from our company. We explained that they had submitted a W-9 to our company, but there was no such employment relationship with us. They reported to the IRS that they did not receive a W-2, and the IRS generated Letter 63C, requesting that we explain the situation to the taxpayer (contractor) and asking us to check a box on the letter and mail it to the address listed on the letter.
