Hello,setting up a new business, and we sent an invoice to a customer that ended up being subjected to 30% CIS/high rate CIS as we where an unregistered business (was awaiting approval from HMRC for paye/cis).I am trying to reconcile their payment but have no way of selecting that the invoice labour is subject to that higher rate of CIS.Can anyone help?
This is on Projects and the hourly cost rate (not billable rate) per employee. All our projects where we send guys on site currently show a loss because our site costs are less than our workshop costs. I would like to be able to have 2 cost rates per employee.
Hello! I am not able to file VAT as cash basis in QB desktop pro 2020. When I click 'File VAT Return' it defaults back to accrual basis.Does anyone know how to fix this? Please??????
I have tried Edge, Chrome, Opera and Firefox. I have tried clearing the cache, I have tried private browsers. TSB reports authorised, quickbooks will not connect. I have had authorisation in the past, but quickbooks reports that it expired after 10 days.

Hi.Anyone know the phone number to contact UK Customer Services? Trying to reregister 2016 Desktop version as need access to old company file. Unfortunately, it appears as no longer supported the online registration doesn't work. I have gone through all the help pages, installed and run the ToolsHub. When I go to the help menu and the Need to get in touch either by Phone or Message they are both greyed out and wont work. I have spent hours try to get this to work and until I can get passed this registration the software is redundant including using to access help. Cheers

UK: A client has recently moved banks to Monzo bank . We set up the Monzo to QuickBooks bank link, to import transactions.1) On occasions Monzo are duplicating entries.2) Most entries imported from Monzo have no payee or payment reference, unlike the customers previous bank.This makes it impossible to create "rules" under banking and every entry is now having to be matched manually to the bank statement, to find out who was paid and the payment reference.Anyone else having issues with Monzo bank link import?

I have created customers like cash, card, account etc and at the end of every day I enter my daily takings and select the appropriate customer to create a sales invoice. Now those options are gone, I am asked to create new customers and can't enter my daily takings like I used to. I am basically either not able to use the service or I have to do everything again!
