This is the first year doing it through QuickBooks online. We are illusionists so we buy props. They normally go through I understand it as capital allowances/fixed assets, as they are large purchases which are used for years to generate income. At the moment they aren't being included in my tax reportWhat have I done wrong? Thankyou in advance
I can only see the option of importing bills and invoices and a new account but nothing for actual transactions under a specific account.

I have switched from Xero and all good except that I have VAT returns showing as needing to be filed despite showing £0.00. How do I show these as filed up to the current quarter?
I had no issue doing this for the last 3 years now they have changed Quick Books again and not for the better

It's just a question about how other businesses tick the GDPR boxes whilst using financial software, which essentially keeps customer data, for instance, long after that customer is 'current' so not holding more data than required, and on the other end of the spectrum ensuring we don't lose all invoices info, etc, that HMRC may require should we stop using the software. Just GDPR as a whole in the context of QBO.
I have seen this question on several forums - but I can't find an answer that works. How can I generate an invoice / credit note without putting in an email address? I have tried the various solutions advised on the forums but so far none have worked (ie changing payment details to none or print later in the client account, using save and close instead of save and send).
How do I add 28 days holiday advanced leave to the leave allowance, so that when I do payroll it comes up on the leave balance. I was able to do it last year but cannot remember how I did it. Thank you.

Hi.For the last two months or so my bank feed is missing random transactions, several each month. They are not all in batches but dotted throughout the month here and there.What might be causing this, please?
I have just taken over running a businesses quick books and there were a lot of double entrys. I have tried deleting and voiding them. I have reconciled these voided transactions and it does it but then they keep showing up as a transaction when I start the next month. Why wont they delete or void?
I know I need to upgrade but how and to what version of QB and will my existing M data move?

We have some part time workers that work a different number of hours each week. So we need to calculate how much leave they have accrued and ideally the associated pay. And then display this on payslips and / or the employee portal.
