How do you turn this off. I dont like it and I didnt ask for it and It annoys me that they introduced it without first informing me. Im wasting time having to switch back to classic view all the time and Its driving me ( and looking online lots of others ) mad
We love the inventory management and how stock links with stock asset invoices, however we need an easier way to conduct stock and to be able to scan products to generate an invoice to ensure the correct products are being invoices for. Do quickbooks do something themselves or are there any compatible add ins that work well?
Hi QB community. Is it possible to create a template to write cheques for vendors I use and pay daily? ie, I want the accounts to be filled up with say, "Purchases" account, and in the memo column, each row to be filled up with the vendors full name. Please see my screenshot for illustration. Thank you!
When I opened Profit and loss report as of 2022, I realized that there is an account that is deleted showing up in the report. This shows up in profit and lossThis is the summary transaction of the account This shows up in balance sheet report I just want to know why it still shows up even though its been deleted and is there a way to not make it show up in reports?

We have QB Desktop Pro 2022 and since the last QB update, I cannot edit invoices in outlook. Outlook freezes and eventually crashes. Once the invoice is emailed from QB, the outlook message pops up just fine. You can send the invoice and pre-written message just fine. The moment you try to add a new recipient, change the subject line, or do anything with the body, the pane freezes and does not come back on. I have gone through the old solutions from 2022 and 2020 but these do not fix it.

I have migrated desktop company files to Quickbooks Online in the days when you could do it directly via the option under the Company drop-down menu in desktop. It seemed to work fine every time and all historical data was migrated accurately. This pathway has now been blocked by Intuit and we are forced to use the "Move My Books" app. When I tried this I discovered the following shortcomings:Only 2 years of historical data are uploaded.Credit card accounts and converted to bank accounts.Foreign currency bank accounts are converted to GBP bank accounts.Customer and Supplier lists are not uploaded directly but the system tries to work out whether it is a customer or supplier by looking at transactions in the sales or purchase ledger. So if there is a supplier refund it thinks it is from a customer. Consequently the customer list now contains half the supplier list and vice versa.In short, it is all a bit of a disaster and when I took this up with Move My Bo

I have to manually update it to see what’s in the bank account and all the money coming into my account shows in quickbooks as expenses so I appear to be making a massive loss.
I sold my business a while ago, but still use QB Desktop for my personal accounts and bank statement reconciliation etc. I do not need payroll, VAT, tax or legislation updates, merely to keep track of my spending and assets. Will the Desktop version still work, just no longer receive updates, or will users be locked out?
I am trying to prepare an invoice before the sale but i'm not entirely sure of the customers details yet. Is that even possible on quick books?
Hello UsersIs there anywhere we can register/join in etc to be alerted when updates take place on QB. It's only by chance that I find I switch on programme and see something new and useful has been added to the programme that was not there before!Thanks
I can no longer match transactions in banking by using the 'find match' . I have reported it last Thursday but haven't received any contact since and the problem persists, Is anyone else experiencing this problem or does anyone have a solution?
Hi all, we purchased a product from screwfix, not realising until we got back it wasn't the correct product, so we took it back and received a refund. How do i enter this? i read elsewhere you do a bank deposit and enter "accounts payable" but when the box opens it states: "Use Discounts/refunds given to track discounts you give to customers.This account typically has a negative balance so it offsets other income.For discounts from suppliers, use an expense account, instead." So it states at the bottom use an expense account but i cannot find the refund category. Hope this makes sense!.
