Transactions Not Reflecting:Many manually created and imported transactions are not appearing in the "Transactions Menu."Financial Institution Connectivity:Most financial institutions (FI) are not connecting successfully to the QuickBooks account.
Since moving over to Core Payroll (which is awful!) is anyone else experiencing issues where EPS filing notices are not being made successfully to HMRC. I have error messages showing up saying that submissions have to be made in sequence and that there are grammatical errors preventing the filing. I only have 1 submission. When being migrated to Core Payroll we were told as consumers that no action would be required and everything would seamlessly transition. I have escalated this issue to Quickbooks 1 month ago and apparently their engineers are discussing the fault and trying to find a fix. I am only 3 days away from being fined by HMRC for non submission of my filing notices. Using the manual submission tool from HMRC is not an option - a) because I already pay Quickbooks to do this for me and b) the manual info required to be inputted is far too time consuming and difficult.
I am wondering if anybody has been having the same issue as me which I have contacted QB support multiple times over the past few months without resolution. I was in the middle of my subscription when I received a new bank card. I then entered the new card details as usual to QB to make the payment for my subscription and there pops up the below message We couldn't process your payment. Make sure your billing info is up to date. If the issue persists, please contact support and reference this message. (Error code: -81624) I contacted my bank to get the payment go through and but the bank said it is an issue with the vendor (i.e. QB) not implementing a proper compliant payment process. Subsequent exchanges with QB support team lead to different reasons as to why my payment is not going through (such as I have to wait until my account because inactive and only then QB would allow a new subscription payment etc but that did not work either). This issue also caused
I wish to run Expense by Supplier for all companies that has been grouped in spreadsheet sync, so it shows all supplier expenses for all companies within our main company group. At the moment grouped customers only shows 4 x reports in drop down menu that are good but not what I'm looking for. Any thoughts on how can I do this please?
When I try and change the county from the drop down menu in company details the system freezes and I have to eventually refresh the screen and try and start again?
I have an action on to-do list to file payroll from Aug 24 - though it's already been done/accepted by HMRC. When I try and file it, it says there's an error. If I file it says "Cannot submit as no pending filing present" when I file electronically through Quickbooks - or "Unable to submit this filing at this time" when I try and file "outside of quickbooks". HMRC show that they previously received it ok. So basically I want to clear this in some way so that quickbooks acknowledges that it has been accepted
I have a UK Customer. I invoiced them in GBP (and GBP is set as their "home" currency in QBO). For some reason they have paid in EURos. It is a small amount - not worth returning the money and getting them to correct their payment. How do I put this payment through the books?
I appreciate Desktop support finished in the UK last year, however we keep the program for historic information we occasionally need to review, we are not currently using it. I have upgraded my machine and am now on Windows 11. It has been registered by my IT team but when I go to use it, it will not let me without a Validation code and Customer number. I have tried the UK numbers with no luck. Is there anyway to obtain these?
Ive contacted Costumer Support at the beginning of December due to not having recieved my referral rewards for inviting people. Its been of 150 days and were nearing towards mid january but i still got no response regarding the delay of my reward.
Hi allI am using Quickbooks Premier Accountant version 2010 for desktop for last 14 years, currently its in regular use but due to the desktop has tecnical issues,I need to move the software to new desktop.Unfortunately I had lost the original disk, I have license number and product number, also the licence is registered and regularly refreshed. I have spoken with quickbooks team by phone for online drivers but not available with them, and I got suggestion from quickbooks team to check with community for any other option or I can find the disk for particular version from somewhere. Please suggest any options.Thank you
QBSE not fit for HMRC. Not fit for MTDMy posts on other threads are being ignored by Quickbooks representatives for weeks on end, so I am starting another thread here. Quickbooks representatives have confirmed that QBSE "will not fully satisfy or provides HRMC request for more detailed financial information if your business needs complex accounting features since QBSE only has basic features." Quickbooks representatives have also confirmed that QBSE is not suitable for HMRC requirements for MTD (Making Tax Digital). QBSE is therefore not suitable to be sold and marketed as an Accounting Software for Self Employed businesses and should not be advertised as such. This is a request for Intuit / Quickbooks to be honest and transparent with their customers about the limitations of the product that is being marketed and advertised as 'Accounting Software' - it is NOT effective Accounting Software - it is an aid to completing the Tax Return - this is the only f
I have downloaded my May mileage but the spreadsheet shows no transactions...however I have reviewed all of my journeys in May and can see them in the App...I tried the help section in the App but there seems to be no way to engage a human being!
We use QBO to manage staff expenses. They submit the expenses, they are then reviewed and, if OK, we "Create expense". In order for these expenses to be reimbursed to employees via our payroll, I typically go to the Expenses screen and select the relevant date range and do an export, that I pass on to our payroll team. However, I have realised today that the filter and export work using the transaction date and not the submitted date. So, if an employee is a bit late submitting their expenses and they submit a claim for an expense that was transacted in a previous time period, then there is no obvious way for me to tell. I have tried running the Expenses by supplier summary report, but that can't be used to cross-check, as it only provides the net amount (excl. VAT). What I need is a way to view all expenses logged in a specific time period, so that I can be sure that staff are being properly reimbursed, or to be able to mark an expense
So a supplier of mine based in the US overcharged me and has now issued a refund. The original bill was in USD but of course the credit to my bank account is converted to GBP, I'm trying to follow the online guide to account for the refund and I choose the correct currency, as in USD, then select the supplier and select Accounts Payable - USD, I then get an error stating "The transaction needs to be in the same currency as the A/R and A/P accounts you use. I have to choose USD because otherwise the credit can't be linked to the correct supplier as they're set up as USD.Does anyone know the correct procedure for processing supplier refunds when the supplier is not using the home currency? Thanks
So i had a Quickbooks Premier accounting 2014 edition installed, i recently had to reinstall Windows on my PC, I'm installing the same Quickbooks program again but its not taking my licence number or product code, I live in south Africa so there's no way for me to call support. and i also don't want to buy a new licence.
Hi I'm using Quikbooks self employed on my desktop. I'm not too good at all this and made a made a few mistakes. I believe I've imported some transactions twice and some I hadn't filled in correctly on my linked bank acc. I'm looking to DELETE all my transactions for the last year and half so I can re-import them correctly. I have seen I can exclude all the transactions but I still want to delete. Is this possible or do I need to start a new account? Thank you.
I've added new employees, who are paid on an hourly basis with rolled up holiday pay added on top each month. I've enabled rolled up holiday pay in the 'pay schedule' and ticked it in the settings for the employee but the pay isn't adding to their payslips when I run payroll. Any suggestions as to what I might be missing in order to get this to work? Thanks
Apologies as I’m sure this is a simple or has been asked many times before but I’m new to quickbooks. So eBay hypothetically..eBay transaction/payout is £200. how do I adjust this in quickbooks as currently that’s £200 in sales but that’s not all profit. I need to take the cost of those products out of that and also packaging to find the true profit amount.
I had an email yesterday saying tags are being phased out and to use custom fields instead. Custom fields are currently not available for expenses in the Essentials and Plus subscriptions. Will this change when tags end as if not this is a significant reduction in functionality of the software. The email said it would be available to Quickbooks online, it did not mention Advanced subscribers only. Thanks
I've tried all the suggested fixes. Called the helpline and disconnected and reconnected to HMRC - Nothing
