I've tried several times to connect Quickbooks self employed to Co-Op Business Account but keep getting the message 'That didn’t work. Try signing in again.' My bank account has two-level security with a customer ID/User Id and token. Has anybody faced the same issue and how can it be resolved?
Hello! I run payroll for our company, and I am wondering if there is a way to stop employee paychecks from drafting individually from our bank account. Other employees have access to the bank account for various reasons, but we would prefer them not see what each employee makes individually if possible. Ideally, we would only have one lump sum drafted for all employee's pay.
I wonder if anyone else has had this issue and if so what they have done to resolve the issue? When we tried to sign up again to MTD in the hope it would spark the confirmation email to come through, it says we are already signed up. Any assistance would be very gratefully received.
Does Quickbooks only account for VAT once an invoice has been paid? Regardless of whether its a sales invoice or purchase invoice
e.g. I want to show products categorised as 'Clearance' and 'Goods for Sale' but not those categorised as 'Small Order Charge'.
Accounts to 31st December 2021 were prepared and when subsequent accounts to 30th June 2022 were prepared changes had occurred in the Cost of Sales & Stock asset for which there is no evidence of and transactions on the audit Log or other reports. Between 7th July & 4th August the figures had again changed for both periods with no relevant modifications etc in the audit log. How is this possible?
Good morning I have some filed tax returns that are stating 'record refund'. The refunds are already recorded back in the year of the return eg. 2014 and 2016. This is not affecting end of year accounts, but I would like to tidy the page up so these returns are showing correctly in the 'Paid Returns'. Any ideas ?

I have three transactions I need to enter in QuickBooks desktop version: 1: Invoice for cloud back up service from a US company for £120 2: Invoice for malware protection software downloads from France for £80 3 Payment received as commission from a French Company for other companies buying their software from my recommendation for £40 I understand that I have to include some form of VAT entry(ies) for HMRC purposes on some or all of the above, but I haven't come across any straightforward explanations or worked examples of what entries or appropriate VAT codes needed anywhere.
