Bad enough it didn't work the first time, this query was responded to by QBO offering the same instructions, where the heck is AI when you need it?
I paid a different amount last month then is recorded, now I need to adjust it.
One of my clients has an EasyStart subscription, and I am the primary admin for the account since it was created by my firm. He has asked that I make him the primary admin. Since he only has access to one User, I can't do this on my own, so how can I go about doing this? Also, will this cause any change to his wholesale subsc/ription price since his subscription is charged through my firm
I am trying to file a 2020 corporate return and have the software downloaded from Turbotax. I have all my information completed in Quickbooks and am trying to have it connect and import the GIFI file, but I get an error message in the software. I am assuming it is because I have the company open in the online browser version rather than a desktop version, so I am trying to download the desktop app. the instructions I find to download the app tell me I should find it when I am logged into the browser version, under the settings cog. However I do not see anything that says "get the desktop app". Any ideas about how to get the information to go over to the turbotax software, or how to get the desktop version, if that is in fact what I need to do.
I have QuickBooks Premier NonProfit 2021 which will stop being supported in 2 months on May 31st. We use Payroll so we must upgrade to Enterprise or Online. We also have Shopify POS. Anyone out there using Shopify and QB online have any guidance, pros/cons, for me? Thank you for your help!
I am catching up on my taxes. I migrated from quickbooks pro on my desktop to quickbooks online last May. Because my books were hugely behind the migration was messy. Now it won't let me open my desktop saying it's expired. How do I access it?

Hello, We have two companies that we process payroll via QuickBooks online (a Canadian company and a US) Our employees enter their timesheets into QuickBooks Time by the Hour and to the project that they are working on during that pay period. Once approved their timesheets then gets exported from QuickBooks Time into QuickBooks Online We then review their Timesheets in QuickBooks Online to make sure that is has imported correctly from QuickBooks Time - for the most part it does. Once we run Payroll a percentage of their salary should then be allocated to each project that the employee has been working on The percentage is determined by the hours worked divided by total hours for that pay period. For the past few months once payroll is ran - QuickBooks Online is not project allocating in our Canadian or US Companies UNLESS an employee has taken vacation If they have taken vacation during that pay period, then their salary is project allocate
Physically receive items on 1 day, but invoice date is from when the items left the vendors place of business, not when we received them.
Where do I find this, how do I reverse it??
I am trying to follow this article: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-ca/help-article/taxation/workpapers-gifi-mapping/L3CDlaaSK_CA_en_CA?uid=ltqgqvze To map my chart of accounts to a GIFI. Very intuitively you go to the working papers section and select Income Tax. However, it simply does not load. I've tried in Edge and Chrome browsers, different computers, even friends in Canada at different accounting firms with different computers. It doesn't work. I am in accounting view, this client has the advanced subscription, I have the paid T2 protax subscription. Automatic GIFI importing is a key feature!
QuickBooks Payroll plans are going up in price. I would like to downgrade my plan to Payroll Core before I get billed in three days. How can I do this? I will be going from $25/mo to $55/mo and I have no way to stop it from happening without cancelling my plan altogether.
Bank account connected successfully but only pulled information from this year and not previous year.
I am not able to turn on the online payments (credit card) option for a USD invoice.
Is there a faster way to get invoices to print? my current method requires a clickthrough of selecting -Print or Preview, - confirm print or preview, -open(or download), go to download, open downloaded pdf to separate browser window, click the print button and then confirm print properties to printer of choice.Looking for more of a "click printer icon to send to printer" kind of solution
It was there last week now it’s gone and I work off my phone so it’s super annoying
Any help in this regard would be greatly appreciated. Have Desktop Pro 2021 and CPP and EI Insurable earnings on T4's do not match Box 14. Not sure why. Tax tables have been updated as always, so confused as to why they would not match box 14. Box 24/26 are more than Box 14. Not by a huge amount but is not the same. ???? Thank you in advance - if someone has ideas on what I can check would be most helpful. Krista
