QuickBooks Q&A

I ran a profit and loss report, and noticed some expenses were under the cost of goods sold section. I changed thier category to "equipment", which is where they should be. I got a pop up saying that doing this may interfere with reconilation, since I did not change any values, I chose to continue. Now the expenses do not populate when I run a Profit and Loss report. Why?
I was unsure about what "credentials" meant to set up the 2nd account. The new account will absolutely be a different business, but I want to access both under my QB account
I'm trying to find a report that will let me filter a payroll report by job title.

My focus is on the bank statement (and of course impacting the bank reconciliation). We can see on our bank statement that $800 has left our account. Then, when the transfer failed, it debited our bank account. How do I account for this $800 put into our bank account? Do i create a deposit? But its not a deposit? this $800 must be recorded somehow, right? and done so without impacting the following payment (by cheque this time).
I HAVE A VENDOR THAT HE HAVE TO PAY ME A FEW INVOICES AND ALSO I HAVE TO PAY THE VENDOR A FEW INVOICE, IM LOOKING FOR AWAY TO PAY THE AMOUNT DIFFERENT TO HIM AND ALSO DISCOUNT MY INVOICE.

We have a status employee, registered and working on the reserve land. How do I properly set up the employee so that no federal or provincial taxes are deduct from his payroll? Under the exemptions field while setting the staff up, I don't see anything regarding the provincial tax.
I transferred money from sales into my new business bank account, but 1% of it was my money and not taxable and like 99% of it was from sales. How do I separate that in my records since that 1% is technically net payable; money my business owes back to me? I know now that I should've made two different transactions to separate how they appear in my Quickbooks, but how do I do that after the fact and what category do I put the non-taxable portion of the money under?
I seem to have done everything right on my quickbooks but when I go to download transactions and it asks me which account I want to download to, my bank account isn't there and the only choice I have is the AddNew. This of course results in it downloading to a new named bank account and then I have to transfer all transactions to my proper bank account. Why?

I'm trying to upload the older record of mileage in PDF file on QuickBooks but don't know how
Previously, Invoices were just numbered in sequence 1000,1001, 1002, etc. Now they are ETSY0001234, way to long and not from etsy.
How do I get the all entire year's transactions to download
We do surveys but the homeowners are not our clients. (Meeting with client is not appropriate). We don't rideshare, or pickup goods/supplies or deliver/dropoff. I want to create purposes for our mileage tracking that don't cause suspicion regarding our business activities.
Hi,money spent for an asset last year was accidentally booked as expenses. To correct this error this year, I understand I book the amount on assets vs. prior year adjustments, an equity account. This account is not part of the QB Online standard, so I have to add it.* What definition type to chose? The only one that seems to fit is "Accumulated Adjustment"* How do I make sure that this account "Prior Year Adjustments" will be reconciled with "Retained Earning" at the beginning of the next year? Thx, G

One of the credit cards was used to refund items to two different customers. Using the "Split" tab the customer option doesn't appear as it does for a charge. Does this require setting up in the QBO settings?
QBO shows the amount due but the actual payment was .30 short. How can I reflect the short payment?
My visa card bank feed has not synchronized since November 8th.Why are my transactions not being imported into quickbooks online?
