I run Qbox to file share with my clients and it has worked seamlessly until last week when I started getting an empty QB file that is on my taskbar, but I can't maximize it. I've been able to open my personal QB files by opening 2023 and then updating my filles, but I have clients that don't run 2023 yet and need to keep their 2022 files working. They aren't having any issues, but I certainly am.
I have a new client that brought me his QuickBooks backup and it is a 2006 version. How do I bring it up to date? Do I need to try to buy 09, 12, 15, 18, etc.... to bring it current?
I cancelled my subscription on 21 July but got deducted from my credit card on 22 July. I need refund and cancel it so there is no further deduction.
Both are for the same quarter and the same date.
I used to import several entries with debits/credits but now I am having an error before importing data. error say:Journal entry lines must only have credits or debits, not both. There are rows with both credit and debits in the following transactions
Before an update in June, there was an option under "My Team" in QuickBooks Time, I was able to remove access to certain employees who were temporarily laid off as well as archive employees who are on salary and therefore did not need to use QuickBooks Time. And now I cannot do this, even with admin access. The toggle button to give and remove access to QuickBooks Time is no longer there, and when I try to archive or unarchive an active employee, it is grayed out. I should not have to call in every time to have this done.

Has anyone received an email with details on how to update to Quickbook Pro desktop version 2024? I have found myself having to call Intuit for the last 3 years to do this because the emails stopped arriving. These calls end up with an email being sent to me. Last year I was told that now it would update and upgrade. Updates, including payroll subscription updates (tax tables) have worked for the last year. But I know QB 2024 is available to download and I believe it is required for July 2024 tax tables, but I don't want do that since I have not received an email with a license and product number for QB 2024 (that would be required if I did it that way). I was expecting it to update to that version automatically. Was I misinformed last year? I suspect I will have to call someone. Is there a number for Canadians to call to assist with this? Thx. Steve
How do I got about adding a US salaried employee's address? Right now I only have Canadian Provinces to choose from in the drop down menu.

I have created an invoice for staff uniforms but I cant remember how I pay it.
The settings are to sign out after 3 hours of inactivity, it signs me out randomly and I lose whatever I was working on. My computer is set to never sleep so it's not that and I was active within the 3 hour period. This is not the first time it's happened.
Hello! My bookkeeper was asked to provide cash that was to be used to purchase a vehicle. She created a bill in the system to allow her to generate a cheque which could then be cashed at the bank to get the cash on hand for the transaction. We now have the paid bill for the vehicle purchase but there is already a bill in the system reconciled to the bank for this transaction. Whats the best way to fix this? Obviously we need the proper bill in the system with HST and the asset details.
