I am unable to save & print any invoices with 2 or more items on the invoice! & Customer support gives me what they call a "work around" of sending 1 item invoices! I'm sorry but THAT IS NOT A "WORK AROUND" for us with our business. Our "Customers" are home manufacturers that we do services for, I can't send them 6 to sometimes 2-3 dozen invoices for 1 job! I'm sorry let me rephrase that, THEY won't except all those invoices for 1 job! That is entirely WAY to confusing/complicated, and we won't get paid for the work that we do to their homes with that many invoices. Explaining the situation and how it is out of my control, will not help our situation. They will hold up and question every single invoice, like WE are trying to double/triple get paid for items we already got paid for. When I explained this to the customer support person on the phone, I was told my only other option is to wait til it gets fixed. WE CAN'T DO THAT NEITHER!! We are a small business, and we could go un

Why don't the billable hours update after posting to invoice?

I have a client that pays my invoices through a third-party payment processor. The payments always come with a payor name that isn't the client name but is recognizably associated with the client. (E.g., instead of "XYZ Corp." the payor shows as "ABC(XYZ)." Is there a way to write a rule or set an alias for the client? That would avoid the problem that the payment never gets applied to the client's account until I manually change the payor's name. I haven't found a way to set a rule to do that.
Let's say there was a receivable of $100 from a customer, but months later, it had been deemed as uncollectible so it was written off using a journal entry. Now, whenever I run an AR aging report, the customer's name still appears even though the total AR is now zero. I'm aware that this is because the invoice for the $100 amount was not properly linked to the journal entry made. So how should I "cancel" the invoice in question so that the customer's account will not show up on my AR aging report anymore?
I click the Pay Contractors button from within Payroll > Contractors. The screen loads after a few seconds, but then just stops. Easily 15-30 second anytime I click or hit the tab button to move or select anything. It's taking up to 3+ minutes to get one contractor set to pay, much longer when I want to do multiple ones in one batch. I don't know how to fix it. I've even tried to do this on my gaming PC from home and still the same result. Does anyone know how to get this resolved?
Our vendors went to a different payables account. Can we put vendors to a different payables acct in QuickBooks online
How do I stop this forced add from taking over my screen after save and sending an invoice? When you "x" out of it a NEW duplicate invoice is created with no notification that the original invoice has sent (it has). It is VERY easy to double bill this way because of an add for a service we do not want. This has been happening for over a week every time we save and send an invoice.
I have a dilemma. A customers total invoice was $2,420. The payment made by the customer was $1,936 however I accidentally received the payment at $1,963. Once I noticed the error, I corrected the received payment against the invoice. The invoice itself is showing the remaining balance as $484 however the customers open balance is saying $457. I have no clue on where the $27 difference. I searched the $27 and nothing popped up. I searched both the $1936 and 1963 and both popped up however when I click the payment $1963 it takes me right the to received payment of $1936. Do you think it’s a glitch? How do I fix this without messing up my bank reconciliation?
We are a non profit organization. How do I run a report only for program dues? How do I exclude the pledge receivable from sending a payment reminder?
We have families paying for a youth trip next year. We would like for invoice to allow them to make payments in the amount of their choice until it is paid off.
Anyone know how to update employer ID to the 10-digit NCSUITS Employer ID
Trying to figure out the new invoice style and functions. How do I select multiple line items? Useful for moving lines around and organizing. How do I copy and paste lines? Is it possible to duplicate a block of items? Or simple way, is there a way to revert to the old invoice style?
It is not on the other company file. How do I turn it off?
QB used to allow me to write a check, now it constantly reverts to online payments which I don't want to use all the time. When I used to click on "schedule payment" it would allow me to choose my bank and handwrite a check. Not all my vendors accept online payments. Prefer mailed check.
I still have this ability on desktop, but have lost the functionality in the app, which I consider very convenient. How can I get this functionality back? My account subscription details it says that I should have the ability to make an edit invoices and estimates.
