How do I filter by PO number in the Sales by customer detail report in the new enhanced view? In the classic view PO is an option in the filter, it is not an option in the new view.
Heya Guys, do any of you know of a way to share the Report Builder Custom reports? I've got a Trust account that a couple of the employees need to manage and i couldnt find a way to share these, as the usual dropdown menu is just replaced with the option to "Delete" and that's it. Any help is appreciated!

This is my first year closing out quickbooks, year end. I do not know the close out process. I have read about it.My biggest concern and annoyance is the credit card bill. The closing date on my credit card is in middle of the month. So I will pay my credit card in mid Jan 2024 with charges that are from Dec 2023. Do I worry about this or just let the expenses for Dec post in Jan? Help.
Without a spreadsheet to quickly find the starting and ending monthly balances I am left with the contamination of the quickbooks checking register. This register is created by qbo software that has "aliased" payee names and has multiple parties with access and cannot be trusted without reconciling, a process that cannot occur withing the account itself of course and especially not with the aforementioned payee name changes, poor ai assistance, random employee adjustment and other integrity sapping risks such as letting a company with no business experience in its customer service base control my financial structures.
This is supposed to be book keeping software. Why are the account monthly statements opening prior to the first of the month and ending prior to the end of of the month even though the entire world including and more importantly all the tax agencies set to a regular calendar? Where do I send the bill for my 250.00 per hour CPA that has to certify this muck?
Hi, I would appreciate some advice on an accounting issue we have with our US$ company.We received intercompany invoices in Euros from our EU Parent company in the year 2020 and booked them at the fx rate to US$ at that point in time.The invoices are still unpaid today and we have recorded unrealized gains/losses at year end 2022.Our EU parent company has now signed a loan agreement with us, in Euros, to the value of those open items. The loan agreement specifies, that this is specifically for the purpose of clearing those open Euro invoice. No cash has been disbursed with this loan and we need to record an intercompany loan in the balance sheet.Question: How can I clear those old Euro invoices against a loan account AND at the same time record a realised fx gain/ loss? When I try to make a vendor payment, Quickbooks is looking for a bank account. I have tried creating "transit" accounts under Current Assets but this also does not work. Hi everyone, I hope you can help, I'm in a bit of a panic.I emailed a P&L report that did not arrive in the person's inbox and I suspect I typed the wrong address! Yikes! Not the kind of information I want floating through the internet!Two-fold question: 1. Is there a log of the emails I send? I see lots of answers about the vendor and customer centers, but not just general emails. 2. Is there a more secure way to send such sensitive information like when I email a paystub and they have to put in a password? Thank you!!
Desktop Pro Plus 2023 error. I have a strange issue with my chart of accounts. One of my trust account sub-accounts (bank account) is showing an incorrect balance. The balance sheet is correct, as is the reconciliation; it's just wrong on the chart of accounts. It should be $1470; but it's $3970, $2500 too high. It started when I keyed a check for $2500; I saved it, and noticed that I had it assigned to the trust account, not the correct checking account, so I changed it, and saved it. It reports correctly to the ledger for the checking account, and is not on the ledger for the trust account, so everything looks correct. But on the chart of accounts, it's showing the incorrect figure $3970. It's like it took the correction I made to the check, and doubled it, but not in the ledger, just the chart. What is going on? I've closed Qbks, and rebooted, but the problem persists. Help!

Also, if you still have access to your QuickBooks Desktop company file, we can export your payroll data into QuickBooks Online (QBO) using Intuit Interchange Format (IIF). First, we have to set up your preferences in your payroll account. Here's how: Go to your Core, Premium, or Elite payroll account. Click the Gear icon on the top menu. Then, choose Payroll settings. In Export, select Edit. Choose your accounting software. Tap Continue. QuickBooks will create default accounts for your wages, expenses, and liabilities. I need to print a payroll/wage report for a period prior to migrating to QBO. But everytime I enter dates for payroll reports for any period prior to migrating I just get a blank page. I was not able to migrate at the beginning of the year, so I don't get any data for the period of time prior to the migration. I also need to compare prior years but can't because there isn't anything there either. Is there a way to fix this? I migrated to QBO about 7 months ago.
