When I go to categorize a transaction on the app, my list of vendors is blank. However, when I go to add one it tells me it already exists. How do I recover the list?
Some clients like the invoice to be done in a specific way, so I expense them the total with receipts instead of each line item.
How come I Can’t navigate to see my future invoices
We have a new account that seems to have discrepancies in their bank reconciliations. There are deposits that were cleared but are not in bank statements. Also, there are deposits that are dated the prior month in QBs, but are in the current month bank statement and was cleared in current month... I really don't want to unreconcile the past 4 months BUT I have a feeling I am going to have to in order to correct all of this. Any thoughts?

I run the office for a trucking company and we have multiple trucks on the road. I am required to report costs per mile for each truck, so I set up a class for each truck and I can run a P&L by Class. What I am struggling with is how to enter mileage per truck so that I can generate a report that allows me to see cost per mile by truck. Is this possible in QB Desktop?
Ebay Sales Channel is Importing Sales Tax Collected and is putting it as Sales Tax Payable on my balance sheet. Does anyone know how to stop this? How do I get rid of all the previous transactions ... go in and delete them individually? Thanks for your help.
I import an excel with my payroll transactions. Credits cash and debits relevant Tax accounts and we ACH the cash amounts to our payroll provider. However, this time, the payroll girls transferred the cash amount back to our main checking account and sent the ACH from the MAIN account instead of the payroll account. So now in my excel import I have all the numbers correct but I also have a transaction of money coming into my MAIN account and also being ACHd from there. How do I account for this in a journal entry? My payroll account already has the relevant Credit to cash as part of the excel journal entry we imported. So I am thinking that I make a debit and a credit to the MAIN account to show the money coming INTO the MAIN acct and also LEAVING the MAIN account. Because if I matched a transfer then it would show an additional movement on the Payroll Account when that money is already showing as Credited through the Excel import. I don't want to
I'm new to QB, and am looking at our office's Customer Balance Detail Report. Does anyone know the difference between the "Amount" balance and the "Open Balance" balance? Thanks in advance!
