in the old layout, I was able to customize invoices send to customers to exclude the 'qty' and 'rate' columns, which is a necessity for my business. How can this be accomplished in the New Layout? It appears this functionality has been removed? unless i just cant find it.
Hello! This year the non-profit I run merged with another non-profit that dissolved. The dissolved non-profit cut my non-profit a check to be deposited into my bank account. How do I categorize those funds in my QB file? It isn't a sponsorship or general donation. I am at a loss! Any help is appreciated! Michelle
When I change the product/service on a customer invoice, the invoice amount goes to zero.

I need to chnage a vendors Tax Id number that was entered incorrect but it will not allow me to type, how do I correct?
We purchase fuel from at least 3 vendors and would like to track the use of the fuel, whether we sell it to customers, use it within the company, and how it is used for the company.
QuickBooks version: QuickBooks Pro Desktop 2021, R8 (Updated on 11/01/2021). When I try to export my Quickbooks report (any report) to Excel, I get following warning: Excel allows 256 columns in a worksheetThis report contains 7 columns (3 row title columns + 4 data columns)Use "customize" to change the number of columns in this report. Nothing happens when click on "Ok" in that warning dialog. Why would I get that warning when # of columns in my report is less than what Excel will allow? I don't understand how to fix or get rid of this warning. Help, I can't export any of reports to Excel.
I don't know what it means or how to fix it.
This new function is a nightmare for those of us who have multiple vendors and many clients. A way to turn off payment button on estimates would relieve much work
I have been thrown out of QBO now 5 times. There used to be a way to annotate right in the transaction. This new way sure feels like a very expensive step backwards. Please bring back Melio!
sometime yesterday, Quickbooks Essentials updated and now I cannot see or access prior time entries via the user interface. I can see them if I run a report, but if I click the entry to edit it using the 'Time Entries' screen, I get the following error: This is a new feature we’re trying out, and it might not always work. Please try again later. I have opened a case with QB after an hour on the phone yesterday, but no resolution yet. Why are they rolling out BETA software to businesses that need to be FUNCTIONAL?
and what about the exchange gain or loss?
We assign Customer Account numbers to each of our customers (These are inputted via "Edit Customer", "Payment Settings", then "Account No." in QB Desktop Enterprise). When running a report such as AR Aging Summary, how can I add a column next to the Customer which shows their personalised Customer ID?
Team could not clock in. Can I add her time worked manually?
I would like to apply for getting the 3% processing fee for paying an invoice lowered to a lower rate.
What is the easiest way to list checks without payees, and enter the payees, and then move to the next one?
Can’t view estimates.
The refund form does not have an option for Solopreneur or a PayPayl payment method so I'm stuck in a loop.
We've had trouble getting Scheduled Reports to send; I've seen the many posts about UAC issues and incorrect compatibility settings for the Scheduled Task that gets created, but still running into a different issue. From the log file: Information 1 Scheduler WPF Software Acceleration has been enabled for QB. Yeyyyyy!Information 1 Scheduler Starting Scheduler instance.Information 1 Scheduler Starting initializing schedule data.Error 1 Scheduler XmlDataStore:GetAllSchedules()The type initializer for 'ScheduledReports.Engine.XmlDataStore' threw an exception.Information 1 Scheduler Exiting Scheduler instance. This is happening on 3 separate instances (one a fresh install), have tried using the QuickBooks Tool Hub to run repairs/fixes but still no dice. Latest updates installed. Support has already been contacted multiple times without any help or resolution. How do we get Scheduled Reports to actually work? Has anyone else seen this issue?
TL;DR: I need to filter a report by customer/project that shows any expenses paid but not checked as "billable". I am running a report for a customer/project and I've determined that I have expenses that were paid and tagged to the customer/project and the option to check the "billable" option was missed. I have run transaction reports, P&Ls, balance sheets, etc. and cannot find a way to filter to expenses that did not get categorized as "billable" for a specific customer/project. Note: this is not found in the default "Unbilled charges" report.
We are a non-profit charity, only need one user, so what package would be the best for my organization? I need the ability to pull the required reports as a 501`c3 corporation.
