We are a non-profit and withdrew cash from our bank account to have starting change in our cash box for concession sales. When our event was over, it was deposited back into our bank account, along with the cash sales. What kind of account do I set up for the cash withdrawal so I can tie it to the bank transaction? This account will ultimately always go back to a zero balance after any event when we deposit it back.
If you had an invoice of $105.40 and you thought you paid correctly.Later, you attempted to match and realized you accidentally paid $105.50. It is $.010 overpayment.After manually matched the original invoice of $105.40, there is still $0.10 that I don't know how to deal with it.I thought it may be matched to Bill with -$0.10 but it doesn't let me enter less than 0 value so that doesn't work. I entered vendor credit and tried to match with it but it doesn't show up in the matching choice.Is it only journal entry option left? I'm not as familiar to deal with JE. For this particular case, how should I correct it?
I can change my address in the Intuit account "Profile," but that change isn't reflected under the Intuit Account "Preferences" under "mailing address." How can this be changed?
Kind of frustrated. I enrolled in Revenue Share on an account that I created by accident. I never used the account for anything. Being new to QB I created it not realizing that you can access the training via your existing account. The issue has been that I mistakenly enrolled in the Revenue Share program under that account. Once I realized that I had tried enrolling under the correct account and was denied. I called in informing the Expert what happened. I was told to re-apply again. After being declined multiple times, with no reason stated, on one of the multiple calls for assistance, we noticed the unenroll option. So, I unenrolled the application in the wrong account and then re-applied in the correct account. To make a long story short, I've called in multiple time regarding this issue. After being guided to change all of the company information in the incorrect account to something else and resubmit again in the correct account, which I did. Fast forward to t
I get emails periodically maybe 2-3 times a year appears to be from quickbooks.intuit.com and says some strange name has been added to my company as an admin and I have never even set up Quickbooks online- no payroll and only simple offline version and yet I get these messages. Any thoughts on if there is a scam going on with these messages- never clicked on repair button. here is messageYou just invited (email named) as company admin to the QuickBooks Online account. Hi -We have a master client and we had to update the main address. However all of our sub clients addresses are still showing as the old one. Is it because its an established link with the old address? All new clients are using the new master clients address, but we have over 75 old clients that when creating a new invoice are still showing the old address. Is there a way to re-push the new address through to the sub clients? Please advise!
Intuit changed the way they handle Sales Tax in QBO vs. QBD. As a result, when I migrated, all transactions that included Sales Tax paid by my customers had the tax amount stripped out. Since those payments were grouped with Undeposited Funds, this created a negative balance in Undeposited Funds with a corresponding balance in Sales Tax liability. Unfortunately, Intuit hasn't figured out a way to fix this.Assumptions:1) Intuit summarily dropped the sales tax from the payments during migration.2) Any entry in Undeposited Funds demands a deposit. This is true whether the entry is a result of a payment received or a Journal Entry. Quickbooks *always* wants it to be deposited somewhere.3) Any entry in Undeposited Funds that does get deposited will reduce the balance in UDF by the amount of the deposit, regardless of whether it was a sale or a JE.Intuit can't figure out how to fix this. I am attempting to add my accountant to our company for the 2024 tax season filing. When doing so I receive the error message"You don’t have the right permissions to invite an accountant.To invite an accountant, ask your admin to update your permissions.."I am the only Admin on our account and have not had this error previously. After speaking with help desk over the last several days I am being told this is a know issue and its being worked on. Is there some sort of work around to adding someone on the accountant side as this delay is impacting my tax filing, and i have little confidence that it will be resolved timely.
Hello,I am a super admin on QB. I added a user with role that includes 1099 workflow, access to all vendor details, etc. However, the user is not able to access the 1099 section at all. It says they have no permission when they click ont he 1099 tab.
Team, We have 3 accounts with QB over the last 20+ years. I believe I've got them all consolidated now into one for our products but never want todo delete the others to reduce confusion, because I'm not permitted. I'm just the IT not the QB genius but the accounts are in my name because the front office can barely login to gmail. So I get a notice that my credit card will not permit a renewal for our business and it states: Affected Products or services: Intuit QuickBooks Payroll Annual My office manager confirms this is for her payroll tax tables, blah blah blah. Great, when I login I don't see the product listed but I see something similar. I currently have two "companies" under my intuit account that are technically the same company. I originally joined for payroll/workman's comp, and shortly thereafter added the accounting too. Someone at QB messes up and made the accounting side separate from the payroll and they only kind of talk to each other. Has anyone else had to deal with this? I'm told that I will have to start a whole new "company" and transfer everything over. I will take any advice i can from you if you have ever had to deal with this. Thanks in advance.
No doubt all of us get scam calls all the time. But after switching back to QB just over a month ago, I already have Indian scammers spamming my landline with calls to "update my payment information". I don't think there's any way they could have got that information from something I have done. This causes me to wonder; is QB or one or more of its third party partners selling our info? I think that I ought not to have to deal with scammers from ****thole countries as a consequence of doing business with parties who are apparently monetizing my information and laundering it to P a jeet*stan. I am very, very frustrated with QuickBooks. I have been trying to downgrade from QuickBooks Plus to Simple Start, but I keep getting this message: "You have the 'multicurrency' feature turned on in your current QuickBooks Plus SUBSCRIBED plan. This feature can't be turned off, and is not supported in the QuickBooks Simple Start plan." Nowhere was I warned that enabling multicurrency -which I don't use- would permanently lock me into an expensive plan. This is deceptive and completely unfair to customers who want to scale down their subscriptions. Even worse than that I spent hours on the phone with QuickBooks customer service, and the experience was infuriating. The agent I spoke to had no idea what the multicurrency feature was and was intentionally keeping me on hold instead of connecting me to a supervisor. She refused to help and wasted my time. The issue that I am having is I'm trying to change my phone number for Sign In & Security, I start by clicking on my profile image in the top right corner and then select on "Manage my intuit account" and then "Sign in and security" and select on phone number, The only problem is that the phone number registered is an old phone number I no longer have, so I called support and they told me that I would have to go through recovery my account "https://account-recovery.app.intuit.com/hri-ui/accountrecovery" I try to go through the process but when it comes for me to scan the QR code image I do from my mobile phone but nothing happens when I open the link it still shows the same QR code when I'm supposed to be taking images of my license. So I'm not sure on what to do next or how to fix this problem

My account has disappeared again. It happened on June 19th. It was logged in on the 17th, I was out of the office on the 18th, when I returned on the 19th and tried to login into to QBOA, it says "We can't find anyone with [email address removed]." Using chrome incognito, I was able to login and chat with an Adriano Jr on the 19th and was told that it's possibly a security issue and it's being looked at on the back end. I did not receive a reference number so I can't check the status of this issue. And, NO ONE can seem to tell me how this happens. How does an account become deactivated when it wasn't done by the firm or the individual, twice in four months????? Since June 19th, I have tried, every day, to login to QBOA and I am still getting the error. This is absolutely ridiculous!!! Am I the only one this is happening to?
ANybody experience this? How much time take to resolve?, I update my credit card address and lock me out now it says thank you for your patience processing your request for 15 days and Nothing. hi. i have Quickbook Essential license. i have 2 bank accounts linked with my quickbook (one is AR, one is AP)I want my book-keeper to have access to AR bank account only to do transactions reconsolidation. how can i do it. I went to "Manager Users" but i don't see any roles i can use. Thanks

I am an accountant; my client has signed up for QBO. She just want to have access to reporting and would like to transfer the subscription. She will continue to pay for the subscription. I am new to QBO. Initially, she setup her company with default chart of account, vendors, and bank and charge card, with limited categorized transactions. When I received an access to her subscription, not realizing that she has set up herself as a client. I build the client with all required data, such as charts of account, vendors, contactor, bank and charge card. and started reconciling bank and charge card transactions. It is bit confusing to her. She wants me to be the prime access but the she wants to use is the one I set it up. What is the best way to clean this up, and setup her limited access. She also wants me to take over her. and delete what she has done. Help
