QBO has been asking me to reconnect my bank after every few logins and it's very annoying.Example: Everything is fine for 3 days after logging in and logging out a few times in one day but then I am met with a message code 185 asking me to reconnect my bank by verifying it's me by texting a code. I get the bank reconnected and start the process of everything being fine for a days before it asks me to reconnect again. How do I make this stop and know that my bank has been connected by me and needs to further verification? Update: It has actually made me verify twice in the span of 10 minutes. This is so unnecessary. This needs to stop.
What is the purpose of undeposited funds why not just put in my checking Regester?
We have a legacy version of Quickbooks (Desktop 2017) that is working alright and is good enough for us.Back in September, we made an error paying a Vendor, we selected to delete the payment transaction and entered a new one, applying it to the pending invoices. The problem is that the original payment was not actually deleted. It is showing up as a payment without any invoices applied, therefore an over-payment on the vendor account. Every time we try to delete it, we got the following message: SORRY, ANOTHER USER HAS DELETED THIS BILL PMT-CHECK. QUICKBOOKS WILL REMOVE IT. Months later it is still showing up: an unreconciled overpayment. How can be correct this?
I recently took over booking keeping for a company and am cleaning up years of transactions that were applied to "Undeposited Funds" but never deposited. Unfortunately, I've had to go back into each transaction and edit them one at a time individually. Today I accidently deposited all of the remaining transactions to one of the bank accounts. How do I reverse the deposit so that all of those transactions are back in "Undeposited Funds" so I can continue editing them?

What is up with this? I called tech support and they said there was a known issue and they were working on it and that he would email me once complete. I did not get a warm and fuzzy feeling from that call that this was accurate info or that I would get a email or that it would just start working again. Anyone else having issues?
The failure is that my credentials are not recognized using the app, but no problem with the QB Online browser.
NT switched a two factor authentication and now I cant download anything. I have received zero help from the QBO help desk per usual

Did you also see a bunch of Chase accounts (at least credit card accounts) and their Transactions suddenly disappear from your QuickBooks Online (QBO) accounts without notice? Despite having those accounts connected for years?QuickBooks Premium Support advised the following when I called in multiple times:- The incident affects 30% of all QBO customers, GLOBALLY- The incident started 01/08/2024- There are multiple Internal QuickBooks Online Investigations: • 1st = INV-97884 • 2nd = INV-97671- Program and Product Engineers advised QBO Support that they hope to have resolutions within 3-5 business days of Jan 24, 2024; however, I was also told the issue would be fixed by last week.- QBO Support says they strongly advise against trying to reconnect your accounts (if it's even possible), as very adverse consequences could result and negatively affect the data integrity of your books. Are you also affected? I see nothing on Twitter/X
Recently purchased 3 CD and added 3 new Chart of accounts and want to link our current bank to these accounts
I've tried everything to correct error 103. QB will no longer connect to my bank. I've changed my password at the bank and updated with QB with no success. I get a call from support but cannot understand what she is saying due to her accent. Help!
When I first set up the credit card account in 2020, its billing cycle crossed the 2019 year end, so I had to enter some card transactions and a payment from 2019 so that I could reconcile and balance that first 2020 credit card statement. That 2019 credit card payment is still hanging out there on my checking reconciliation screen, uncleared. How can I clear it or get rid of it?? What's the best practice? Thanks,Lisa
Hello - My client received partial payments in a previous year but now wants to create an invoice to show the client the remaining balance. I've created the invoice dated 1/1/24 for the full amount, but I'm having trouble applying the partial payments to it, I'm assuming because the payments are dated before the invoice. I don't want to mess up the income or A/R account from previous years. Is there a way to apply these payments?
So instead of the 8-10 transactions that should download to an individual card, I have the same 68 transactions on every card.
It keeps coming back continuously.
deposits need attention
I have seen online that QuickBooks has mobile deposit but I cannot find it in my app. I've called the support line multiple times and keep getting different answers. I've also read that you can type it in manually and deposit that way but haven't been able to find that option either. TIA
A new bank account called "global clearing" was created during migration. Does anyone know anything about it? Is there a purpose to it? Can I delete transactions and make account inactive?
