Can only deposit to my bank accounts now.
I had to undo reconciliation and when I went in to reconcile again it put the outstanding checks in the cleared balance so I'm off by that amount. How do I fix that and show those checks as outstanding? They do not show cleared in the register or the reconciliation.
I’m seeing posts for the cash flow tab but don’t see any option to view statements there. Not looking for QuickBooks payments statements.
Our bank B B & T merged and is now Truist. They don't have an option to down load bank statement in a file that is compatible with Quickbooks. Is anyone aware of a way to convert pdf files to qbw files so I can upload to my Quickbooks program. Hopefully free or at least cheap.
QB seems to download transactions from my bank but they only last for 90 days. How do I keep them in QB forever?
Hello! I have recently discovered, as I am taking over our company's finances, that our beginning balance to reconcile an account is currently not matching the bank. Unfortunately, I also discovered no one has been creating Opening Equity Balances, so I cannot simply edit that. I've tried to follow a tutorial from QB to change the beginning balance, but the steps and options they outline are not appearing on my QBO account, even though I have full access, so I'm wondering if it's outdated? What is the easiest way to rectify this situation and reconcile accounts with an incorrect beginning balance? Is my only option to create a journal entry to offset and reconcile the beginning balance, or is there a better and more efficient way to resolve this? Please help!
Hello, I have a mismatch between my bank balance and "in quickbooks" since about 2 years.My accountant told me this wasn't an issue but my CPA says I should fix it. As you can see in the attached, I have no issues with my Checking and Savings.I then have 1 corporate credit card account (named "Corp 1") and 3 credit cards linked to this account names respectively "CC 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3".I also have a "BoA Main CC" which seems to have all the above (Corp 1, 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3) under this "BoA Main CC"...!Any idea how to solve this mess? Thanks!Ron
The receipt import feature is nice since we get hundreds of invoices (receipts) from a vendor we use all the time. Some of them don't get input right away and that's our fault, but it would be VERY nice if we could go back at least 1 year for online banking matches to the imported PDF receipts! Not sure if this can be changed in my account settings, or on the back-end on my account possibly?
Why are my fund still being on hold for over a month after my client has paid their invoice? This is getting ridiculous. And why do they keep asking for a phone bill? I use my personal phone bill not a business one for my company. It is not relevant at all to my business and the invoice I sent to my client. The client has paid already but Quickbooks is holding my money hostage. I need that money now.
I just created a new company with QB Desktop 2021. Under bank feeds I notice after I add a new transaction the rule creation does not automatically pop up for me to review/accept. I really want this feature turn on can someone help me please?
I expect my QuickBooks app to update my transaction right away but it takes it over a day to update all new transactions, I don’t understand why.
I know as I am using the US QuickBooks Self-Employed, I cannot connect to my other countries' bank accounts. I already sent a request for these accounts to connect, however, if the request is not approved then how can I record the business expenses paid on non-US banks or credit cards?
We are missing multiple bank transactions. How do we get them to show up?
