I'm getting this error when trying to book reimbursements from my CC.
uploaded CSV files. triple checked the file. 9 of 10 upload properly. but there are a bunch dated 12/31/1969. during import process the 12/31/1969 transactions were excluded, then edited then un excluded, reviewed and accepted. with the correct dates. move to the register and they all show 1969. there are no duplicates AND they all appear in the proper month.. i mean to say that when looking at the reconciliation or register screen I see all May 4 expenses including one showing date 12/31/69, same on May 15, May 22 etc. What do I do?
I'm not an advanced user and haven't used categories in QBO. I'm reasonably adept at using Income & Expense Accounts & Sub-Accounts. If I want to continue (for reports) Income & Expense Accounts & Sub-Accounts, how do I set up and identify deposits and payments using Zelle, PayPal or Venmo? I want to know that one of these services was used, but I don't want to lose identifying the Account used (ie. office expense, phone, subscriptions, etc.). I will appreciate your advice on this.
I downloaded a CSV file from the bank to upload into QB. However, there is only one date field to map in - I would like to show both the transaction date and the posted dates. Is there a way to do this? Thanks!
Hello, I overpaid a vendor for an invoice. I pay invoices by entering them as bills and then making payments against the bills. The vendor wired me a refund for the overpayment. The wire deposit was $10 less than the refund presumably because of a wire fee incurred. These are the steps I have followed so far: 1. I fixed the vendor bill to reflect the correct amount.2. I created a bank deposit for the amount of the refund (less the $10)3. I marked the invoice as paid selecting my payment method and the bank deposit. I am left with a negative $10 against the vendor. I am not sure how to offset this with the bank fee. Thanks,Leslie
I'm trying to reconcile my most recent credit card statement, but when I got to the reconciliation screen it says "Your account isn't ready to reconcile" and the "Previous Balance" number is wrong. It doesn't match the beginning balance on my current cc statement, the end balance on my previous cc statement, or even the ending balance on the previous reconciliation report from quickbooks itself. Which of course all match and are the correct number. It also says "There's a discrepancy because at least one transaction was changed or deleted after it was reconciled." But I don't see any deleted transactions. This is a strange one. For some reason the "Previous Balance" number in the reconciliation window is just wrong. But it's right everywhere else. Any ideas?

Hello. I wanted to find the Polish bank PKO in the list of banks that can be linked to QuickBooks, but it wasn't there. There was a feature to submit a request for our bank to be added to the list. I provided all the necessary information. Could you please tell me how long it might take to add a new bank to the list of those you work with?
A client recently asked to pay via a bill payment platform of their choosing and I had to connect my business bank account to the platform.When I connected the account, the platform made a micro test deposit of 0.01 to my bank account to verify my details.Everything was fine, but now they haven't reversed the deposit or deducted the 0.01 from my account so my QBO is showing the deposit of 0.01. What do I do with it so it doesn't look like income.
It says an error has occurred, try in a few hours. My bank says you are now connected to Quickbooks but it doesn't show updated transactions in Quickbooks. I am afraid to to delete the connection because of the warnings about losing transaction categories, rules etc.
I would simply like to process a paper check a customer wrote me into my QuickBooks Checking account via Quickbooks Online. It appears there is literally no way to do this? Selecting "check" as the method of payment on the invoice takes me to the ACH credit screen - I did not obtain an ACH waiver from this customer, I have a paper check. What am I missing?
Hi I transferred a lumps amount from the business operating account to the business savings account. (we have just changed banks) The bank mixed up our personal savings account # with the business account #, so the funds were essentially taken out of the business. I transferred a portion of the funds back into the business savings account.I completed a journey entry showing the original transfer out of the operating account and 1 transfer into business savings and 1 personal investment.How can I reconcile with the bank transactions ?
In QB desktop I could go in and change the bank pretty easily. Now I can't seem to figure it out. The payroll correctly pulled from Bank A but when we transitioned to QB online, incorrectly Bank B is listed. I just need to move the actual payroll over so my funds show correctly. Thanks!
We have recently migrated over to QBD from QBO. Best decision EVER. I'm wondering how we will access our QB Checking account now since we won't have an online login? I'll be cancelling that subscription this week. Our QB Checking isn't our primary account, but i do use it for a few things so I plan to keep it, just wondering how i will be able to access it once the subscription to online is cancelled.
We are a resident association (501-c-7)in a retirement community. We use QB Online to mange our finances. Once a year, we give thank-you checks to about 400 members of our staff. We want to produce these checks in QBO. But we don’t want to manually enter each payment to our staff - “vendors”, for our purposes.We know how to upload vendor names. But I have been unable to determine if there is a way to upload the gift amount each year via a CSV/Excel file. At a high level, we need to import vendor invoices that we would then pay with the QBO auto check writing process. is there a way to do this? Thanks for any help you can offer to these aging hands!
I am having the pending charges get imported as well daily for one of our accounts. How do I delete charges that are not needed and/or is there a way for the import to show they are pending & not a posted charge? That way, I wouldn't have to also log into my bank account as well as QB to know they haven't posted yet? Thanks!
A customer of mine posted a deposit to my quickbooks online account on 9/11/24 for $2950. This deposit sits On-Hold! WHY??? Why has this not transferred to my personal checking account? It shows a deposit ID but is On Hold. I need this funds released to my banking account asap. Please assist and explain why this happens.Thanks,Brett
My bank account balance and QB balance are not matching up. When I try to reconcile, I get the "Your account isn't ready to reconcile yet" message. When I pull up the reconcile report and compare it with my bank statement, I see some withdrawals and deposits don't show up in the reconcile report. I'm thinking I might have selected the wrong category for some of these transactions but I don't see what I have done wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! TIA!
