One thing that bothers me about QBO is that we cannot print a reconciliation report reflecting what we need as accountants. I'm glad that it has "hide additional information", however, doing so also hides outstanding items. If there is a back reconciliation that has any outstanding checks, I have to also include transactions after the month end. For example, Bank statement ending date: 9/30/2024Period ending date: 9/30/2024 Statement beginning balance 125,000.00Service charge -529.59Checks and payments cleared (57) -834,515.60Deposits and other credits cleared (325) 835,045.19Statement ending balance 125,000.00 Uncleared transactions as of 09/30/2024 -7,378.23Register balance as of 09/30/2024 117,621.77Cleared transactions after 09/30/2024 0.00Uncleared transactions after 09/30/2024 1,084,887.36Register balance as of 11/03/20

Does anyone else find HIGHLY inappropriate that QB forces you to do an up after three passes? Better yet does it on the 1st of the month when you are trying to close out the previous month. SMH. Couldn't be at a worse time. and to force you to do it is ridicules.
I do traveling sales and have a lot of mileage that I use for deductions. I have used the mobile app for years and recently noticed that it stopped tracking on October 5th, 2024. When I called, they said it was a known issue and they are working on the issue and would keep me posted. I was told to manually track my mileage until then!
Hi. We are having several customers ask us if we can have Bar codes on our invoices. Is this possible?
Is there is a way to add a column to a QB sales order, pick list, and/or invoice that shows the number of cases the customer ordered. Let me give you some background. My company bills in units. This information shows up and prints out on these forms. We then manually convert the units to cases for our warehouse personnel. For example, a customer orders 96 units of a particular item that is packed 24 units to a case. We convert 96 units to 4 cases and write that information on the forms to assist the warehouse in picking the proper number of cases. It would be easier if this information were automatically provided by QuickBooks on these forms. Is there a way to do so?
We part paid the vendor and now I want to match the payment to the bill. I go match and the bills come up including the one i want to match this payment to but the tabs where I normally punch in the amount do not allow me to type anything in. It is just greyed out which is weird. I have done this countless times by the way and somehow this is weird. Please help me.
Was there a recent change where you cannot print packing slips from the actual invoice screen? the option disappeared from my "more actions" section. When I try and print from the sales list under batch actions, it prints, but does not print the ship to address field.

We have been using QB since 1999. We have been using the desk top version Enterprise Solutions for about 15 years. We have over 4000 inventory items and 500 customers, so the file gets large quickly. We have started over with new company files 3 time in the past and it is always a pain because of the number inventory items and customer. We need to start a few data file for 2025 since the current file is over 2.8g. We would like to make a copy of the current file, then erase all transactions in the new copy, leaving the info for each inventory item, customer and vendor. We would then simply just do a journal entry for opening balances. Is there a way to quickly delete all transaction from a QB file?

I am new to setting up revenue recognition schedules. We have a Chargebee-QBO integration that syncs invoices from Chargebee to QBO. However, the service date at the item level is not being synced during this process. Since revenue recognition requires a service date, the Chargebee sync fails with the following error:Third party request failed [ERROR CODE: 6000, ERROR MESSAGE: A business validation error has occurred while processing your request, ERROR DETAIL: Business Validation Error: Enter a service date for the revenue recognition line item., MORE ERROR DETAIL: ]What can I do to resolve this issue? Any suggestions would be appreciated.Note: Before enabling revenue recognition, we used a script to retrieve the service date from Chargebee and populate it in QBO for the corresponding invoice.
