I have Quickbooks 2019 desktop and a payroll subscription that ends in February 2023. BUT I can't run my 2nd quarter payroll reports because everything QB's decided to discontinue my ability to do anything 5/22.SO, essentially Quickbooks is FORCING me to go to a subscription model which is infuriating. What I want to know is - if I upgrade to an online subscription, will my payroll still work? And also - I would appreciate the same interface I'm used to - Quickbooks Online is foreign to me. I would need the Desktop Online version. Would I be able to download bank account transactions on this without having to use Internet Explorer? Finally - if ANYONE has found another Acctg Software besides Quickbooks - I would love to hear about it and give them my business. What Intuit is doing with this forced subscription model is akin to a hostile takeover. It's wrong. Thanks in advance for any answers here?
We are supposed to withhold payments from the employee's check and retain it until we receive the court order to send the payment. How do i do this? Thanks for the help!
We have different companies, all identified through class, in our QB company file. The companies (classes) are: Rental Property and Accounting. An Accounting employee is actually also a tenant, or customer, in Rental Property. We have agreed to deduct the biweekly rent out of the paycheck. The deduction then will need to be received as a payment in the Rental Property company (class). My questions are:What should be the account the rental deduction should go to in the Accounting class? (an asset, liability, expense)? To move funds from the Accounting class to the Property Management class - as a receive payment to the monthly rental invoice - how do I do this? Thank you for the help!
I am at my wits end with QuickBooks! My issues date back to August 2021, when I personally found a $17,000 overpayment on my quarterly 941 tax payment. Since then I have donated 73 hours on the phone with QuickBooks trying to get this worked out. Most recently on Dec 17th QB finally admitted that the $17,000 overpayment was an error on their end, but that I was on my own for trying to get it back from the IRS. The most frustrating part is that every phone call you get someone else, they ask a million questions only to say “I can put in a request for a supervisor call back”. I have been promises 3 call backs in the past 7 days, yet no one ever seems to call back. It is a vicious circle of uneducated staff members not knowing how to follow through with protocol. What is needed to get a manager call back? What is needed to be able to deal with ONE representative with regards to these issues? What is needed for the support people who answer th
I had to close my bank account due to fraud. Is there a way to simply change the account information or do I have to start all over with installing payroll
My employees will potentially work a different amount of hours each pay week and potentially at different pay rates. The Core software I have doesn't seem to support this. If not supported, what is the minimum software level I need to do this.
Can you tell me my routing and account number to pay home depot?
Payroll automatically switched us over to this supposed “better” system with qbo. It has been horrific. I’m trying to get the word out to those who may have not of migrated yet, save any data you need now or else there will be a good chance it disappears. The new system does not support multiple workers comp codes per individual employee which I found out while trying to do the new payroll. Since this obviously saves me thousands of dollars a year, this platform will not be sufficient and I am currently looking for a new service. Either way, I still have to do payroll reports with my workers comp insurance company. All the data from the past has not migrated as advertised and has evaporated into the “cloud”. I have spent the last 4 days and over 5 hours being on the phone trying to get the reports that use to take less than a minute to do. Needless to say, that is time not spent on making my company better. I’m not sure if this is a publicly traded company but to you bear market player
I accidentally set up an Unpaid Time Off code so it would track. I do not want it to rack, but can't find a way to get it modified so it will not track. Any ideas or suggestions?Thank you.
How do I activate my tsheets account

I need to charge installment payments of back payroll to the liability account in which it was accrued. I use Salary reimbursement to distinguish the payments from the current salary, but noticed the amount are charge to the dsalary account instead of the accrual account.
Our fiscal year runs from September to August, so I will be making changes to salary amounts for the remaining 4 months of the year. I need to know how to do this accurately. I made a change to one employee last month to reduce his salary for benefits purposes and it ended up being calculated incorrectly so I want to understand what I did wrong as well as being sure I am doing the next one correctly.
I just started using Paycom to run payroll. They say all I need to do is download the GL report and import it into quickbooks desktop. The report is .iifI imported it, fixed the errors, imported it again and it said successfully imported. I see no where in my quickbooks file the payroll info it should have imported. Am I supposed to do something else with this file? Where should it be?
