I need to run a yearly payroll for an employee who is filing for social security and when I went to do that, I found two quarters did not transfer over from desktop to online. Is there any way I can input them?
Our Chamber does payroll for two separate FEIN's: one of them is seasonal, with employees from Memorial Day weekend thru Labor Day weekend. Sometimes there have also been a small payroll for Halloween week (Haunted Mine Tours) but that is not always done. There is also one payment of a bonus when the financials are done, but there is no specific "schedule" for that. It seems that the payroll schedule for the seasonal company is following the same schedule as the primary (Chamber) which is bi-weekly. This works fine when the second company is "in" season, but after Labor day it continues to assume payroll should be done, when payroll really isn't going to occur until next year. As I am still relatively new to QB payroll, is there a way to schedule payroll for a seasonal organization that would "schedule" a bi-weekly payroll during the summer period and then revert to unscheduled payrolls after Labor Day weekend? Anyone else have something similar that you might share as
Setting up Direct Deposits, I am at the step (verify your account) After 3 weeks of attempts, I have never received a deposit/withdrawal to my bank account. The bank claims they have never seen one. What would be my next step? Quickbooks desktop. Thanks Dave
I've just set up payroll for our company. I have followed the online tutorial for salary sacrifice.I presume the additional step not mentioned in the above, is to reduce the employees pay rate (salary) by their annual pension contribution?Having done this, and having applied the individual to the pension contribution plan, when when I run payroll, I get the correct amount appearing in the pay run for their salary, PAYE tax and NI... However, there is no pre-tax deduction or payment for the salary sacrifice deduction mentioned in the pay table. Also, nothing appears on their payslip regarding the salary sacrifice. However... the correct pension calculations do show in the 'System Calculations in a pay run. I just wanted to check that this is correct, and when salary sacrifice is set up, there is no mention of it on the payslip?

Quickbooks has been asking for a pin verification for months, apparently I have lost it and need to retrieve it for epay of taxes to the IRS. I get an error 61102 with a message saying contact us. I cant seem to create a new one, or retrieve the old one. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I need to add a 3rd paid leave to the track on the pay stub. I currently only have 2 in my Desktop set up. We have set the standard "sick" to report on the paystub as unpaid leave. Now I have an employee moving to a state that mandates paid sick leave (they'll be work from home) and in that state I am required to have their paid sick leave accrual reported on the paystub. I don't want to update the item tracking as unpaid leave. I want a 3rd item tracking on 1 employee's pay stub. Is this even possible?
Why does QBs online want a copy of my social security card and driver's license. QBs online threatened to close our account if I don't provide this. I don't feel comfortable giving MY PERSONAL INFORMATION to QBs when I am not an employee of QBs. I sent it in but now I am waiting to be scammed. I have a payroll coming up next month and wish to enter the details in the Solopreneur bank transactions register. All future dates are grayed out. Is this because a future date entry is not a feature or is there a problem with the OBO Solopreneur? Thanks for any help.
After I send/receive data to transmit payroll to Intuit, the payroll confirmation report used to be able to be viewed and printed from the items received box. We upgraded to Quickbooks 24 and are using enhanced payroll. Prior to the upgrade, I would click view and print and be able to print the report. Now, when I click view, I can see the report, but when I print it, it is blank. It only has the heading. I tried to print to PDF, but it is still blank. Why is this happening and how do I fix it? Thank you.

When entering a new employee under the tax information there is a check mark box if the employee marked a box on the w4 you are supposed to check yes. Is this required? Is it okay not to check it? What is the purpose of this box? I got told at work not to check this box for our clients employees. Please help and thank you for any information.
