Employees and payroll

where do I go to pay employees?
We closed our old bank account and have been trying since June 7th to update our payroll bank account (to match our general account). Over 30+ phone calls, chat sessions and emails have left us with no progress. At least 4 cases have been opened. All required documents/pictures, bank forms etc. have been updated on the "file upload" site (just last week support sent me a link while on the phone and we uploaded the files) and emailed several times to accountvalidation@intuit.com & qbo@intuit.com & qbocaresupport@intuit.com . Does anyone know of a way to speak with someone outside of the Tier 1 payroll team in the Philippines? Those I speak with seem sincere, but it gets frustrating when they literally start over each and every phone call (have you cleared your cache? have you tried a different browser? etc.) and are unable to see the history of the problem.
I have an employee who has been on leave. Can I post her third-party sick pay for the short-term disability wages she received while she was off through the "adjust payroll liabilities" option in Desktop w/Enhanced Payroll or do I need to post through the "Pay Employees" tab? This 2nd option is what I attempted to do but that gives her a negative net so that's not working.
I use QuickBooks Desktop 2021 and my Workers Compensation section is gone from payroll. It's not even listed in the preferences anymore. Did this get removed with an update? I need to be able to adjust the codes on my employees as they change from project to project. Please help!!
How do I go to Desktop Vesion?

QuickBooks is not calculating the 401(k) match incorrectly. It will not include S-Corp Medical in the calculation. This hurts the shareholder as they have to "True-up" the contributions at the end of the year. I don't know why Q.B. will not allow for the correct contribution allocation. Has anyone else found this issue to be a problem and what steps have you taken it correct it.
Can I create a separate pay type and assign it a different work comp code?
How do I run a report that shows the social security numbers for all employees?
The new Workforce does not reflect current PTO balances. Is there a way to turn this setting on?
I am currently performing payroll within Enterprise and would like to switch to a 3rd party software that does this task for me (currently looking at Paycom). I am able to import time sheets into QB enterprise through the .iff file, but can't find how to import payroll information? Ideally would need access to total employee pay amount $ by client and service item so I can run customer profitability reports to show how much payroll was used by client for a specific service. Is this possible? ...and what format would import need to be in? Was thinking importing a journal entry may be an option? Thanks in advance.
I set a restricted user that has no access to employees and payroll, they are not able to do anything as expected, but they can still view the employees names and contact info such as address. Our corporate people would not be okay with access for all of our work stations/users. How can we accomplish no access to employees information at all.
I have 8 companies that we process payroll for. QB is not able to split the subscription out per company so I have one company that pays the monthly per employee usage fee. I need to invoice the other 7 companies accordingly but I cannot find a report that shows me the details, by employee and date, for what I was invoiced for. I have called customer service and requested this report, but depending on the employee, I may or may not receive the correct detail billing report even though I have a case number that is supposed to provide details on how to run this report. Is there a place in QB to go to get the billing details for the Intuit QB Payroll Monthly Per Employee Fee Usage Fee? I am needing this because we have been "off" the past two months - charged more than what we have figured by manually counting employees for each company.
How can i reimburse an employee through payroll *WHILE* tracking the expense to a job or at least to an expense account?
payroll does not take an ITIN number can we pay another way?
Recently, a pop up for Guideline 401K service was added to our QB. It would not let me click on Maybe later, and would not go away. Since this appeared, I am experiencing error messages and disruptions. I have made 3 calls to QB Support. Running the remove program/repair tool seems to work for a while, but the issues come back. In one of my calls to QB support, the tech suggested that I call Guideline to see if there was a way to opt out, hoping that this would then remove it from our system. I called Guideline, and after I explained how their ad was causing issues on our system, the rep actually tried to sell me the service!! Now, I receive emails from Guideline's Sales Development Representatives. Here is the disclaimer included in the emails. 1At the time of this endorsement, Intuit (the “Solicitor”) is not a client of Guideline. Guideline pays a fee for each 401(k) & SEP IRA client referred by the Solicitor, as outlined in Guideline’s written solicitat
We just got a new payroll system, Paycom. Paycom is asking us for a "template" that we need to import all of our payroll data into Quickbooks Desktop. I am not an Accounting person 🙂 and have no clue how to do this!We use Quickbooks desktop for our accounting purposes. I need to be able to import exactly as it is paid/shown etc. So on employee paychecks, I want to import ALL (taxes, benefit deductions, wages, etc) into our Quickbooks. Almost as though we ran it through Quickbooks. PLEASE HELP!
Our employees work under 2 classifications, and log into the jobs in Tsheets, but there's only one box for workers' comp class under the employee in QBO. I need to be able to run a report showing the hours and payroll under each classification.
I have never been as disappointed in a product. It costs 3x what the desktop did and is completely lame, particularly for payments.
I recently converted to QB online, but payroll manually with QB desktop for the first part of the year. How do I import those payroll transactions to QB online?
