We don't withhold taxes for the employees and have a tax person that does our taxes for us so I don't want to pay twice
I tried to set the employee up as 2 separate employees; however, QuickBooks won't let me use the social security number twice.

I'm running QB Online Payroll Core as a stand-alone product that I was placed in after Inuit phased out Intuit Online Payroll. Yesterday, I changed an employee's address since she moved. Doing so also changed the address on all of her past checks (!) as well as the address on the electronic W4 stored in her profile and bearing her signature and a 2023 date!This is clearly inappropriate as the software is changing history (!). It's also a potential liability as our tax rates vary at the municipality level and, retroactively, changing all of the past checks and W4 makes it appear that she has been taxed incorrectly.Is there a fix for this?
