Can I get the Efile number online or do I have to call CRA?
Good morning, I am trying to rerout my payroll expenses to COGS and I am wondering how I do that. Here are a few questions I have related to that: - By moving the payroll expense from "expenses" to COGS, will this affect my payroll summary report? - Do I need to be in single user mode to make this change? - Am I able to do certain employees or does it have to be all or none? I have the manufacuting and wholesale addition version. Thank you so much in advance!
How do you set up the new CRA information codes for reporting of COVID-19 pay periods?
Hi, I have a trial version of QB Canada Premier 2020. Under employee, there are payroll related modules. I have not investigated the employee payroll modules yet. But, there is also a QB Payroll on a subscription basis. What are the differences between the two ? We need payroll processing including sending payments to the government. I am assuming we should get the Payroll subscription. But would like to know what the differences are. I tried asking QB, but, no one has gotten back to me. Thanks!
I wonder if anyone can help me as quickbooks do not know anything about their own system. We have 25 employees who clock in and out against their rostered times. however, they do not clock in and out for breaks, but they do not get paid for them so a few problems. 1. When we approve time sheets, no break is deducted from their hours2. if they come in early or leave the building late ( shift finish) the system does not timesheet the rostered hours ( which is what we pay ) but the actual time for eg, 9-5 is 8 hrs but if they clock in 8.45 and out at 5.45 this adds this time to their sheets and we would pay them for this we need to be able to make sure the hours on roster are complete and that they are paid for the rostered time deducting breaks, for those who are salaried we just need them to
I accidentally archived a payroll form - is there a way to unarchive it?
Would like to give just limited access for running payroll to my clients. Like limited access for AR and AP. At present system compels me to give all access and payroll access. I do not want to give ALL access . Any suggestions please.
This is in Ontario, Canada, and several hourly employees who worked around 12-17 hours per week in their first week of employment (last week) showed $0 for income tax deductions.
