HelloI want to run supplier supplier statements/open items, showing bills yet to be paid, with the description field showing. This is where we detail the supplier invoice no. At present the reports I can see don't have the facility to include this field. Any ideas anyone?Thanks.Paula
When I set up a recurring invoice to automatically be sent out, it is being sent at 01:40am - this is unprofessional as it makes it look like we are sending out invoices to customers in the middle of the night
I have created a Quickbooks online account and I am trying to subscribe to Quickbooks Plus but my payment details are not being accepted. When creating the account, I selected Jersey as the Country and now when trying to enter my payment details there is a 'County' field which creates an issue, as Jersey is not a County and not on the drop down list. If I select a random County, my bank details are not accepted.
Hi, I have just setup QBO, although I am self employed. I am not a limited company and not VAT reg yet.As a limited company tax's work different to being self employed will being on QBO calculate my tax, profit etc assuming I am a company, e.g. tax my profits. Also when I pay my self to my personel bank I would record under drawings , equity - will this effect my figures as I think currently it classes drawings as an expense and surely as self employed it can't be an expense?So I am concered I am on wrong package,but I need the features of QBO.Please advise. I have checked past posts about QuickBooks Desktop versions ending and am confused. One suggestion is that I transfer to QB Online. I did transfer one small limited company account to QB online. It was an absolute unmitigated disaster. From what I can see little has changed in terms of the quality of that product or its ability to properly assimilate data from desktop versions. I no longer run that business, but I must say its closure (VAT/HMRC accounts etc) was hindered considerably by the fact of the transfer! I WILL NOT be transferring my desktop to online version. I would have to pay 2 subs but it is not just the cost I have concerns about! I have an old version (2013) and I am happy with it. I wish to continue to use it. I don't need support and having just purchased a new laptop I wont have the need to re-register my product for a long while. So for example if the average weekly earning was £900 would the calculation be £900/7= £128.57 / day OR if the employee works a 5 day week would it be £900/5 =£180/day?

I have customized an invoice template to which I have added a custom field.I have applied this template to previous memorised transactions BUT the custom field is NOT "pulling" the data of the custom field from the database. If I create a NEW invoice with the same template, the data of the custom field IS USED (auto-filled). This tells me that the new Invoice Template IS set up correctly. Why is the new field not being filled automatically in the memorised Transactions since the new template is selected?? Please help, I don't want to have to re-do all the memorised transactions I have saved! Thank you in advance

HelloWe want to turn on Multicurrency on QBO Plus and know that we will no longer be able to use Cashflow Planner, we don't use this anyway so isn't an issue.Does anyone know if you can still run the Cashflow Statement reports with Multicurrency turned on?Any help would be appreciated.Many thanks Lisa
CIS Submission query.Can someone help with this, please? I haven't been able to submit a return via QuickBooks. Every time I try I get a message saying that my UTR Account Office Reference or Employer's is in the wrong format. I have checked all and they are correct?
I have two companies in QBO. One is using Essentials and the other is using Plus plans. Seen as both have the cash flow forecast in the menu on the right. But, why does only one show the forecast on the Business Overview page and the other doesn't. Or is there a way of turning it on?
QB Desktop temp folder is now 780GB and growing how do I stop it. I have cleaned up as much as possible from the hard drive but do not know how to empty the temporary folder. Any suggestions?
Stop forcing companies to use QBO, it’s not ready.It will be easier, cheaper and simpler to continue with the Desktop version. currently you’ve suspended all data transfers from Desktop, and now you’ve extended the cutoff for Desktop. This I seriously messing all your long term, decades old customers by doing this. Do you realise how much time and money this is costing businesses? You obviously don’t or you’d have fixed the issues already.
We are having to migrate from QBD UK to QBO UK. It looks like it will be simpler to use opening balances rather than import historical transactions as we have multi currency data. If we use opening balances how do we keep/view our historical data? Are we able to keep a version of QBD UK just for viewing purposes, or would we need to somehow download all our transactions? When QBD UK is discontinued what happens to our copy & our data?
Many of my clients’ bills are paid by a 3rd party/another of their companies as a loan.Currently, I record this as follows.I’ve created a Liability account “Non-Current Liabilities - notes payable” for that 3rd party (Lender).for each bill they pay I create a journal entry to credit this liability and debit my creditor-supplier.I then match the journal entry with the bill to show the bill as paid and by that lender.This is a very long and tedious process, being that I have many such transactions. It also leaves a more complicated trail.Can anything simpler be done to make that liability account work more like a “Line of credit” except that in my case it is a long term/Non Current liability whilst the Line of Credit option is only available under Current Liability.
