Quick Books IssuesI have been using quick books for 15+ years. Many of the issues I have reported (multiple times in the report bugs) have NEVER been address. After a dozen “upgrades” I still have these issues going back over a decade. Cash basis reports are wrong. The report appears to mix accrual and cash basis calculations in the data. Under company preferences I have my company set to “cash basis”Company snapshot is wrong.If I click on “receivables new” it includes a mixture of both paid and open invoices some paid years ago.If I click on income/expense graph for say year over year comparison the numbers are wrong, totals are incorrectOnline payment process is horrible.Customers need an option to set recurring paymentsPayments details in merchant services don’t match the data in email I receive there is NO way to reconcile the two if there is an issue they need a common “transaction id” or somethingWhen the payments are pulled into QB by clicking “add” under the merchant

I used BILLD.com to finance a material purchase. I sent BILLD.com my vendor invoices and BILLD.com paid my vendor. I paid BILLD.com weekly interest payments and at the end of 60 days, I made the final payment. What entries do I need to make to when BILLD.com pays the vendor? How do I account for bill payments when I didn't directly pay the vendor but paid BILLD.com?
I say this is a terrible company. I can prove this, i.e no support or terrible support, a featureless platform that is falsely advertised, a broken platform that does not work and non stop issues and problems. I say this and I get silenced and removed from this community. How is this not proof? I have configured the system to send by email, invoices, account reports, among others, to my clients and my suppliers, but when I do the process the email to which it should be sent does not appear and I must enter it manually. How is this error resolved? Here I leave the screen print image so you can see better what I explain, and the same thing happens to me with the suppliers. [Removed]
Desktop Premier Profession 2021 We are planning to create a copy of our company file for practice/learning purposes. It will be used for the entire A/R workflow, so employees will understand Sales (work) Order-Invoice-Receive Payment. We would like to fully simulate receiving payments for fake invoices. I understand how to create a dummy bank account; however, am not certain what of the best option for the test payment. Suggestions? or link to a good article about it.
Is there a way to link a vendor payable to a specific client invoice. For example I purchase a transformer from a vendor for $100.00 and it is used on a specific job for ABC Lighting. I do not want to bill ABC Lighting for the $100.00 cost I just want to know that the $100.00 cost is for product used on that specific job. Just trying to evaluate cost of goods per project. There will be other vendor invoices against the same ABC Lighting and perhaps even multiple project for ABC lighting, keeping each job separate. Any suggestions.
I have been putting my QBB backup file on sharepoint and then allowing one drive to replicate it up to sharepoint.I am sure that this is OK, as a QBB file is not a live database file.But want to verify with someone. Scott

When I mark an invoice as paid on the app the paid date reflects the actual invoice creation date. Not the date it was paid. this is wrong and useless if I want to see how long a client took to pay later.
Ok, I admit it. I’m using QB2016 on my older iMac. But it has always worked flawlessly. Until I updated to Monterey last week. Now I can’t access my QB files at all. If I revert to Big Sur, will QB2016 open? Alternatively, I have tried to open the company backup on QB Online, and that is not working (“file not found”). Any guidance appreciated, thx. Just need a way to access my QB file.
For example, I pay an AmEx bill that has transactions from multiple categories (auto, travel, donations etc.). This is for a small business and I need to be able to see these when going back through the printed check register. The Transactions Report simply shows "split" and does not give detail. We use the paper ledger at work, not everyone has access to the online info. Thank you.

We found that when creating a new Project in Quickbooks Online the status is not sent in the payload to Workato connector. Hello, my company is using Quickbooks Online Advanced with Bill Pay Elite and QBO Payroll Core. Our accountant created a complicated Forecast for us in Excel that is very time consuming to update. I found the forecast feature in QBO, updated all of the numbers, then have discovered that I am not able to download it or print it out. I was very excited to use this feature, but I HAVE to be able to download it for the owners. Any suggestions? If I cannot solve this, I will unfortunately have to keep using Excel. 😞
Has anyone figured out a way to track the expiration dates for vendors' insurance policies? As a contractor, we are required to make sure our vendors have general liability and workers comp coverage and in desktop we had date fields as part of the vendor profile to use for tracking. QB Online has no such capability so I am hoping someone has figured out a work-around! Thank you!

Hello, I'm closing a business and downloading the data for my records. When I export a file from QB Online as a QB Desktop format file, do the receipts that I manually attached to all my expenses also export? We have used this system for years to track all our receipts for all company expenses, and I'm worried about losing the data. Please advise.
