I'm wondering if you could comment on a the viability of Quickbooks Online as a financial system - for a company that was needing to do a full professional audit? I've heard people say that it's not rigorous enough to stand up to scrutiny, and needs to be replaced with a tier 2 ERP system like Netsuite / INTACCT Whereas my observations are that it's really more the lack of controls that haven't been (needed to be) established by small business owners as the company has grown. Once an organization has reached a plateau of needing an audit - the necessary guardrails aren't in place.
How do i change the ship to address in the new invoice format? That use to be editable on screen. Now you need to go into the saved customer, edit it there, but then it is saved for the next time you create an invoice for them. I only want their billing address to stay the same. I do service work for the same contractors over many different locations and sales tax is based upon the location of service. So the ship to address needs to be changed all the time for the same contractors. This was so easy in the old format and now seemingly not possible?

I am trying to sign up for QBOA global version but when i put my credentials its shows an "this feature is not currently available". With reference code 25625 I wanna know whether QBOA globalb is not available in Pakistan? I have tried everything like cookies on, java script on, cache cleared, changed browsers, restarted multiple times.

Do I need to set up an account with Tax1099 in order to eFile my 1099s? I have very few and was not required to file electronically until this tax year. All of the help articles take for granted that we all know what Tax1099 is, and their website is unhelpful as well.
How do I send a message to an employee in QB Time, Payroll or Online
I have created a customized template for an invoice that I like. The preview looks the way I'd like it to look. However, when I apply it to a customer, it includes a green button with the words "Pay Invoice" underneath "Balance Due" and I don't want it there because I do not accept payments online so it is confusing for the customer to see that. Again, it is not on my preview for my customized template I created but is there when I apply it to a customer. How do I get rid of it?

I have been trying to fix the unapplied payments for quite a while and can't seem to get a good answer. Nothing seems to apply. When I go into the register and bring up the invoice, it's marked paid correctly but I'm still getting these unapplied payment issues. Can you tell me if "time & expenses" has anything to do with the unapplied payments that have been paid? I have over $100,000 in time and expenses showing up as unbilled and I'm wondering how to fix this as we do not use those figures when we invoice our customers because those figures I think, come from payroll and there are many more expenses related to jobs than those reported on the payroll. please help. I need to clear out my Income tracker so it is correct as it is effecting reports.
I will soon be getting a new PC. I am wondering if I can MOVE my program (QB Pro 2015 desktop) to the new computer? If so, where can I find how-to instructions? I do have backup copies of my company file so that's not a problem. Just wondering about the program itself. Thank you.

I do a lot of ecommerce: eBay, Amazon etc. There are times that the bank transaction is less than the combined receipts. And when you go to find matches it will not find one of them.As an example: bank transaction - $121.50, the combined receipts are $200.00 when you go to match the receipts it will show some of them, but one is not there.eBay deducts, ad fees, refunds prior to sending transaction. I think QuickBooks is not showing all the receipts because there is not enough money in the transaction to resolve it.All the receipts are there just not showing. When you do the reconciliation and separate the fees, taxes etc. you end up short that receipt and there is no way to add it to the transaction. Does anyone have an idea?
Greetings,I have a total amount of $35,546.69 of funds being withheld in QBO. My question is am I able to reconcile my accounts in QBO while awaiting for QBO to fix and discover why my payments are being withheld? Can I remove those amounts from the month I am trying to reconcile in order to balance out my accounts. Please advise, beyond frustrated. Thank you,Teretha S
When launching Quickbooks Desktop for Mac it's taking a long time to connect to the shared file, we currently have 3 computers that use it and 2 of them are having the same issue. During the connection process sometimes it gives an error "file does not have enough space to edit or the file is corrupt" or something along those lines. Sometimes it connects after several minutes.
I used to paste in the descriptions, and as of very recently QuickBooks no longer let’s me paste into descriptions of invoices what could be the problem?

Howdie We encountered a bug with quickbooks that ended up forcing us for purge our environment to fix it (after hours of talk with support) In the process of rebuilding, we realized that the products page had a different interface, and we can't seem to add product categories and subcategories via CSV, which we definetly could before the purge. How can I switch to the other interface? it's unthinkable for us to manually insert categories, it's hundreds of products we're importing thanks
On QBO, I'm getting a strange error when I try to access the My Accountants page. I had invited my tax attorney to my instance and wanted to check if he'd accepted. It's a melted popsicle with "something-went-wrong-description" as the error message. I've tried multiple browsers as well as incognito modes on both.
I have a client that recently started a corporation in Mexico. I have been in contact with the Global sales team, regarding QuickBooks Online Global, but the sales person that I have been in contact with has been less than helpful in scheduling a meeting with myself and the client to address some questions that we have. We tried to sign up for the Global edition yesterday (an employee is currently in Mexico City), but we were not successful, because they were using a credit card tied to the United States. We have a bank account in Mexico, but do not have a debit card for the account yet. Some specific questions are 1. Does QBO Global offer payroll services? If so, do they offer it in Mexico? 2. What options are available as a Mexico company, i.e., do you provide HR services in Mexico? 3. Why can't we sign up from here? Is there anyone that can guide us or help us, we would appreciate it. How do I void a bill from a closed period? I voided the bill check payment which had a date of 11/15/23, but I went to void the bill, the date was 10/24/23 which is already closed. And I do not have the password that it is requesting and CFO that does is not available.
