There are multiple 3rd party options to do a sync but QuickBooks used to have an official "connector" app that was included as part of the QuickBooks Advanced subscription.I have found references to that connector app in multiple places online, including the official documentation for both Salesforce and QuickBooks , but the link to that app is no longer valid:https://quickbooks.intuit.com/app/apps/appdetails/salesforce/en-us?premiumApp=trueAs best I can tell, Intuit has pulled that app out of the store very recently but I've not found any mention of why. I tried contacting QuickBooks support over chat but they couldn't even properly understand the question. :o/Anyone have any ideas? We quoted this connector as part of an integration for a client and its disappearance is hindering our ability to deliver.
I get a message that states "hmm that didn't work. please check your bank info or account balance." The funds are available and disconnecting the account and then re-adding it does not seem to help. I tried contacting the support team and no one was able to assist me with the issue.
I put at $50,000 deposit down for a loan that we were going to get, but have since went another route. I put a placeholder for the account into the lenders Long Term Liability file until I received the loan information and created the actual loan account. The lender cashed our $50,000 check before we cancelled. They issued me a replacement check for the $50,000. How would I properly remove the $50,000 from the liability account and deposit the check into our checking account? Also I have closed the period for which the original transaction was completed.

We provide inspecting services for banks and we only use Quickbooks to do the accounting portions. I would like to enter the jobs from the beginning, but the custom fields are limited to 7 fields. I would like to add many more fields and use QB for the entire project rather than import the billing info from another program or in our case manually type in the data. Does QB have this capability?
Hello everyone!I am doing the accounting for a logistics company with QuickBooks Online and I would like to ask you the following question: The company started 2 months ago and has 4 drivers. As it is not generating money yet, the owner sends money to each of the drivers from his personal account (not the company's) to each driver's personal account for expenses such as gasoline, truck repairs, etc... So, I must record this money that he sends to each driver as an owner's investment. The problem is that I have to record a transfer of money from a non-company account (so it is not in QuickBooks) to each driver's personal account which is also not in QuickBooks. So, what I did was to create a "back account" (checking) with the name of each driver and register with "bank deposit" each transfer that the owner makes for expenses, and in that account I also register the expenses that the driver makes (gas, meals, repairs), and this way I can know if the owner owes money t

I attended my first trade show this year and I'm unsure under what chart of accounts do I assign my expense. If I create a new one labeled Trade Show Attendence, would that fall under general business expense? Thanks!
I just got a call from a 609 area code claiming to be a representative from QB. He said that he is seeing an issue with my updates. I told him that I've been seeing the reminder for a couple of days and I will do the update this weekend. He said that was great, but that is a software update. He is concerned about a "component update". He asked if I could look in my program under "help" and go to "update QB". I confirmed that "automatic update" is "ON". He then asked me to go to "update now" and tell him the dates under "last checked". The dates were all yesterday. He asked me the status, and they all indicated "nothing new downloaded". He said that should not be and asked me to hit "get updates". I did so and some files updated. He then instructed me to shut QB down and restart it. I did so, and he asked me to go back to the update tab...I confirmed the "last checked" column indicated the current date/time.&n
There are three Tax payments that a previous user entered in a manual tax payment entry and reconciled that one instead of the program initiated tax payment. So my cash is out of balance but I cannot credit the Expense and it was in a previous fiscal year.
We use QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop for Contractors.We also use a 3rd party program called Clock Shark to track our labor hours & costs by project for job costs.Every once in a while, we sell a miscellaneous part for cash. If we set up a placeholder job to invoice and receive cash payments, it gets picked up as if it were a new job in this labor tracking software (Clock Shark) as an option to book one's time. Is there a better way to account for these intermittent and minor cash sales without having a job associated with it? The customers do want some kind of invoice, so that is why we were using this placeholder job to process the transaction.

I am using QuickBooks Accounting Version 23.11.4 on iOS 17.1.1, I send out invoices monthly on usually the 24th or 25th of every month, and have always used the Terms to set my due date as the first of the month. Suddenly, this month the due date has been set to the invoice date. I checked my Terms to see if something changed, but it is still the same and all my customers have the Terms in correctly. The due date works correctly on the browser version of QuickBooks Online, but I find the phone app is faster to use and more efficient, as I send out invoices to 150+ customers monthly, and the browser version takes a lot longer to navigate from page to page for 1 invoice at a time. Is there any fix?

Over the last week or two I have tried to get in touch with QB using the Contact Us feature under Help with QB Desktop. I have requested a call back and waited and waited. I have waited ALL day. Today I have tried twice and not gotten any response. When I choose to chat, the person doesn't know how to answer my problems and tells me to request a call back. I have had them to quit responding all together.This is EXTREMELY frustrating. There is no way for me to call QB.
