This is in Enterprise 2023. We are making changes to vendors in the vendor center. An easy example of changes would be entering in Tax ID numbers, or checking the 1099 Eligible box. We will make these changes, saving as we go, and then later find that not all of our changes have been saved. Or of they were, they have been reverted. Outside of human error, can anyone think of a reason why this would happen?
We are in ag retail. Our Sales Agronomists work with customers but are not able to see all of a customers account transactions unless I give them permission to see general journal entries and checks. I have only found where I can give them permission to view ALL company general journals and checks. Is there a way to give permission to only see checks written to the customers but no others?
Whenever I try to print an invoice I only see a faint outline of the boxes. How can I change this? This is the first time Ive had this issue. Thank you for any help.
I am trying to send paystubs to an employee and they are not receiving them through quick books.
Is anyone else noticing that the QB's online advanced search option is not working and hasn't for the last week?
We use a tablet to record receipts with the QuickBooks desktop mobile app. It worked with the previous tablet, but we got a new one. The app is compatible and works, but it does not give the option to snap receipts. (Previous tablet is signed out of)

Good day, Team I just received a call from this # (Ireland) claiming to be from QB and as I have bad reception all I can hear from her is my credentials plus the company name I created for QBO Accountants. Now I am wary of these kind of calls as I received tons. I'm not sure if this is a company protocol or something to call us? I just created my account as free and I think I haven't subscribed to any but I don't know what is her purpose for calling. So if someone had an experience, can you enlighten me about it? Thanks.
No desire to use QBO. It's Desktop or looking for another accounting software.
Hi,I have an Etsy shop and I am selling digital templates. I've bought a couple of graphics which I use in these digital templates. With my next question, you'll see I have zero knowledge about accounting.. How do I track the expenses for the graphics correctly? I use them now and include them in several templates, I can also use them again in the future. The templates with graphics I dont use anymore are still online and making sales. Appreciate every help, thanks!
I'm using quickbooks pos and I have never connected any credit card processing to the system or done any data transfer. Now when I attempt to reverse a transaction I get a box that say "credit/debit card transactions are no longer supported, update to latest version". I'm not even trying to reverse a credit card transaction, it is a cash transaction. I was told that this would not be the case and just bought a new version. Oddly one workstation still allows it. Anyone experiencing this and figure out what might be causing it? If my recall is correct, it is what caused me to upgrade to v.19 a couple years ago. The same issue, not being able to reverse transactions. Thanks for any help.
It will attach when I'm in Review & Send, but then when the confirmation comes up, it's not attached
I need to advice a client what QBO plan to purchase that includes billable expense income tracking. She pays expenses out of her company that later invoices her clients, and needs to keep track.
Hello fellow QuickBooks users,I recently purchased a smartphone for my business and I'm trying to figure out how to categorize this expense in QuickBooks. My business is a Single Member LLC taxed as a C-Corp. The smartphone cost me around $1,850 and I also took an AppleCare+ plan for 2 years with it. It's used 100% for business purposes.I'm leaning towards recording it as a business expense since its cost is below the $2,500 threshold. However, I'm unsure if this is the correct approach, especially in the long term. Should it be categorized as an asset and depreciated over time instead?I'd appreciate any insights or experiences you might have regarding how to properly categorize such expenses in QuickBooks.Thank you in advance for your help!
I am a volunteer treasurer, not a bookkeeper for a small orchestra. I use QB on line.Donations_Chamber is listed in the chart of accounts, just like other donation categories (e.g., Donations_Concert, Donations_Cookies,etc). But, unlike the other categories (that I created long ago), Donations_Chamber is not included in the list of products/services on the Sales Receipt, so I cannot apply these donations to the chamber concert. It was there in June, for the last chamber concert, but it is not there now. Last June, when I first tried to create this category/product, it wasn't working either, so I deleted it, then added it again. So now when I run the report for the last fiscal year (July-June), the income is credited to "Donations_Chamber (deleted)", which is not particularly helpful. But, anyway, so now it is not there at all.Thank you ever so much for your attention.
Frist, I have QuickBooks Desktop 2021 and all of my searches point to using an "Accountant" menu that I can't find in version 2021. Over the years there have been over 1000 invoices created that were not really meant for collection. I'm now trying to clean up this mess and would like to find the fastest way to do this.I can do a report that will find them but the only way I've found to delete them is one at a time. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO RESTORE A DELETED INVOICE, WITHOUT CREATING AGAIN

I have QuickBooks Pro 2014. For nearly a decade, I was only handling 2 rental properties, so that version was still working. However, I am now starting a new business venture and looked at upgrading. Online is not an option, desktop only. The least expensive option I found is a subscription of $799 per year. Is this now the entry cost for desktop? Are there any less expensive versions available for desktop? If not, has anyone converted from QB to a different accounting software for small biz?
Safari troubleshoot tips don't work. Try print from Quickbooks: no text. Export PDF, Acrobat looks OK but says PDF document will not print. Make JPEG of PDF works 1 page at a time.
I am trying to input receipts into qbo. On one particular receipt, the amount was split between two credit cards. When i go to review the receipt before i create the expense, i see no option to have this receipt apply to two credit card accounts. Is there a way to do this that i am unaware of? Or do i need to scan/input the receipt twice, one for each credit card and the amount that was on that particular one?
