Hello everyone, figured I'd start a new thread. Since June the eBay connector has been spotty at best. For almost a month it didn't work. Finally, after some internal issue was fixed, I was instructed to disconnect and reconnect the eBay Payments app to sync all my transactions with QuickBooks. It worked the first night and I was finally able to updated my books after a month.Now, for the last 2 days, the plugin has stopped working. I click update and get the following: We're bringing in your transactions.It may take a while to bring them all in. Check back soon to see if some are ready. Refresh to updateAnd then it just sits there. I've left it alone for the whole day, even overnight. No matter how many times I click update, it is not updating or importing anything new from ebay. I have tried the following to correct it:1. Disconnect the eBay Payments App2. Go to ebay and cancel the 3rd party authorization3. Clean the data/cookies from all 3 of my browsers.4. Run CClean
Hello,My company follows Cash system of accounting. We have a number of cases where our customers made advance payment end of last fiscal year, for which, we raised the invoice in the beginning of current year. These invoices are now appearing as "Unapplied cash payment income" in the current year P&L. Any advice on how to handle these items will be greatly appreciated.
Hello! My auto payroll is blocked due to a NSF. QBO Says I should have received an email with instructions to wire the payment. I did not receive an email and I cannot find any information on where to wire the funds to unblock auto payroll. Please help.

I've been trying all night to do my taxes; I've used quickbooks the last few years and REALLY want to find an alternative because of stuff like this but here we are. My bank transactions just won't show me anything past November 2024. Quickbooks also won't allow me to unlink & relink my bank account. When I tried to reach out to customer service through the chat box, they said that help wasn't available. Please help. After this tax season I'm 100% done with this platform. Quickbooks makes it hard to do literally anything on here, yet jacks up the price every few months.

Hi Community, If you have had issues with your "Full Service Payroll" including open cases that never get handled or resolved and don't appear in your Resolution Center even after receiving confirmation that a case was opened, drop me a line here, we are looking at a class-action lawsuit for any penalties or other fees incurred as a result of these issues.
Is it possible to invoice a customer and have them make monthly payments? Lets say the invoice is for $1000 and they can make $200/mo payments. Can I set quickbooks up to send them an invoice each month for $200 and have the remaining amount due tracked?
Hi - I am working with a nonprofit client who had their QB online account closed more than a year ago and didn't back up any of their data. I want to confirm that this data is completely gone and inaccessible? I need to complete a financial review and am having a difficult time doing so without their QB data. They also had a QB checking account and even more important than their account data, I need the bank statements from the checking account. How do I go about accessing them?
My understanding was that when you did invoicing, if you inserted a class assignment in the header area, it would carry forward into all the detail lines entered in the body of the invoice being prepared. In actual experience, I'm finding that the automatic entry of the class assignment only happens maybe 30-40% of the time ... most of the time I have to enter the class ID in the body of the invoice. If the body of the invoice has multiple lines and the class ID doesn't appear on the first line, I'll need to manually enter the class ID on every detail line. Just curious if my experience is common among users (and therefore a QB fubar) or if something I might be doing or have set up that is causing this failure (my own darn self fubar!) Appreciate any feedback. Thanks in advance.
Employee works 4 hours OT which is banked for compensatory time off @ 1.5X to be used anytime in the future. Comp time earned would be 6 hours. When comp time is used it is paid at the regular hourly rate. This is a very common for public employers. I have been unsuccessful in using customizings the settings for "Sick".
Has anyone been able to get a copy of a canceled check (i.e. one that shows the back of the check to know who deposited it) with the new QuickBooks Bill Pay system? The payment detail page in QuickBooks shows the payment as completed but we have several vendors telling us they never received the check. There is no way in QuickBooks to see an actual copy of the check. We have been on chat and phone with customer support multiple times (sometimes for hours at a time) and cannot get an answer.
In the Time/Time Entries area I still have quite a few inactive services that appear when I am adding time. It is not all of the inactive services but several do appear and it is confusing for the employees since they are similar. Have tried to merge them but they still appear with the same name just with a 1 after its original name. Is there any way to fix this?
I'm trying to track cash balance plan contributions that will be made in January 2021 for the 2020 fiscal year. There isn't a deduction / contribution type for a cash balance plan and QB Online / Online Payroll doesn't let you add new deduction / contribution types. See the attached file for the options that they have. The way it should work for example is if an employee earns $50,000 per year, they are entitled to a $500 cash balance contribution paid by the company into an investment account on their behalf. 1) Is there a best practice how to do this in QB Online? 2) The contribution is not taxable to the employee, yet it is an expense for the company. If it does end up being setup as a contribution in the Payroll area of QB Online, can it be setup so it doesn't show on their W-2. Cash Balance plans are not taxed until money is withdrawn from the plan. Thanks,EP
In the attached image, I have taken screen shots of a few accounts where the problem is occurring. The accounts in the top half are from Modern View of a Balance Sheet, the bottom half is the same accounts from Classic View. In Modern View, if the account balance is zero, I cannot click on anything to get the history and transactions of the account. In Classic View, I can click on the 0.00 and see the history and transactions of the account. Why was this functionality taken away in the Modern View? I want to be able to see account history while I am using the Balance Sheet, and not have to exit out to the Chart of Accounts and then re-run the report. This is a very frustrating change that seems to have no purpose outside of the "sleek new modern view" that has been trickle rolling out for over a year!
Starting this morning when I go to log in to QB's it gives me an error code of an issue with an employees SS number and then crashes. Mine is the only profile doing this. Everyone else is able to log in. Our account is remotely hosted on Rightworks as well o I can't run the file doctor on it.
QB lost correction file after previous confirm of receipt. Then when links sent to us for re-upload didnt work, took the info over phone but never sent the promised confirmation of corrections. W2-C bungled after 6 weeks of waiting. Now a week after notifying QB of the errors & tax day 3 weeks out, still no response from corrections team, nor estimate of when W2-C might be resolved.
