Hi, So every single transaction in QBO has a "Transaction ID" (you can see this from any transaction page as the part of the URL that says "txnid=xyz"). I'm trying desperately to get this (or ANY unique key) into my reports for export. Is this doable? Every system I've ever worked with has a unique key that's serviceable, so I don't expect QBO to be any different. Do I have to go via the APIs (are there any?!?!) to do this?
Wondering if we create a custom field on Salesforce Opportunities that assigns an invoice number, when we use the Sf/Qb connector app to create the invoice in Qb when the Sf opportunity is closed, do we have the option to map the invoice number listed on the Salesforce Opportunity so that it also becomes the invoice number on the Qb invoice?
How to migrate your financial statements ( Balance Sheet, P&L) from Netsuite to Quickbooks Desktop? We switch from Netsuite to QB Desktop in May and tried to add all the data so our financials (BS, P&L) matched but no luck. How can you get all your data from Netsuite into Quickbooks Desktop ?
Will intuit ever be releasing the 2025 version of Quickbooks Desktop Enterprise?
I have automatic sales tax calculations on my QuickBooks account. The payload is attached below. The correct TxnTaxCodeRef and TotalTax are being passed. However, the sales tax amount is getting overridden correctly. Still, the specific sales tax rate is not being selected in the dropdown instead Automatic Calculation is selected there. This is working fine in the sandbox environment but not in production. This is my Company ID:Company Id for sandbox => [removed]Company Id for production => [removed]Payload{ "TxnDate": "2024-04-01", "Line": [ { "LineNum": 1, "Description": "Products", &nb
Are there any updates on getting PayPal credit to connect to QBO?
My father passed away recently. I have discussed this in another topic. He has 2 banks accounts (a checking and savings) in his Trust’s name. They under his Social Security number because before he died the Trust was Revokable but now that he has passed way it is Irrevocable. I am supposed to meet with his lawyer today. He is creating SubTrusts for 2 of the Beneficiaries. He is going to give me 3 new Tax ID’s, one Tax ID is to replace his Social Security number for his main Trust bank accounts, and Tax ID’s for the 2 new SubTrusts. As far as the main Trust I am not sure if the bank will keep the same account numbers for the checking and savings accounts now that his Social Number will no longer used or if the bank will create 2 new account numbers for the new Tax ID. My guess is the later. As far as opening up new SubTrust bank accounts, I want to be sure that when I move money from the Trust bank accounts to the SubTrust bank accounts for the beneficiaries that nothing is done wrong s
Technical problem: We have Quickbooks on a terminal server and several users are reporting that clicking the "email" button when viewing a purchase order or any operation that has the "email" button, a small Outlook authentication window appears. When they supply their credentials (we've tried local domain and Azure side email address and password, verified correct), the box quickly reappears as if the credentials were incorrect. The box will close after the second attempt and a Quickbooks error message appears stating it could not log into Outlook. One user states that the dialog for the credentials looks different. Right now the prompt says "Outlook MAPI" and the user claims it used to not say the "MAPI" part. I also have not seen credentials prompts say "MAPI." It's not that weird as it is using the MAPI protocol, but worth mentioning if anyone has ever seen the same thing. We reinstalled Office and Quickbooks, both are up-to-date.There are no logos
how can I print a check?
Could we retrieve the customer ID from the customers API provided by QuickBooks? For instance, if we intend to obtain the transaction data or any information related to a customer, how do we obtain the identifier for a customer?
Opened up reconciliation page and my opening balance does not match ending balance from previous month. Does not match opening balance from current month.
About 8 years ago my husbands parents moved to a retirement community in FL and purchased a mobile home there. His dad has been in tax trouble for years and forged my husbands name on the mobile home without his consent. I am assuming the reason was so if the IRS came after him, they would not take that asset. The mobile home was paid for in full with cash. My husbands dad owed us about $50,000 dollars. This past year they decided to sell the mobile home, in order to do so, the sale needed to go through my husband so my husband received a check for $25,000 and his dad agreed to us keeping it to settle some of his debt to us.My questions is, how do we go about categorizing this in quickbooks and then how would we report this for taxes? My husband is self employed and we run a small business (LLC). I typically do all of our taxes because it's fairly straight forward, but for this I am very uncertain of how to record this lump of money that went into our account. Any help is appreciated.
About a week ago, I stopped receiving emailed notification of payments made to me via QuickBooks Payments. Has this been an issue for anybody else?
I am deeply disappointed with the customer service I've received regarding a backend payment issue that I've been trying to resolve for three days now. The customer representatives have generally been unhelpful, lacking knowledge, and unwilling to effectively address the problem. One representative even abruptly ended our conversation, suggesting I troubleshoot on my own. Despite following every instruction provided, each new representative had me undo the previous steps, showing a lack of continuity and knowledge-sharing within the support team. This has not only been frustrating but has also wasted a considerable amount of my time. After being a loyal QuickBooks user for over five years, I'm now seriously considering moving my business to another platform due to the poor service. The current level of support makes me feel undervalued and poorly treated like dog sh@t.
