QuickBooks Q&A

I've converted both my own Accounting QBO and a client's simple start QBO from tags to custom fields.1. The custom fields should be available in deposits.2. I can't pull a PL report filtered by custom fields. Not in the accounting QBO and not in a client's simple start QBO. How do I do this? The filter doesn't show the new tag custom filed I created. and I need the PL report, since I have both income and expenses associated with this tag custom field.

I am new to QuickBooks Online, I signed up to Payments to Contractors for $15/month (includes up to 20 contractors). I called multiple times payroll department, they stated that even if I turn off the direct deposit option for my contractor I will still get charge the $6/month. They stated the only way to avoid the $6/monthly is by marking the contractor as inactive. 1) Do I get charge the $6 if I for example, previously paid my contractor via direct deposit for several months, but then I decided to not use Direct Deposit anymore, and disable the option "Direct Deposit" via payroll menu?2) Does having the green option for Direct Deposit enabled automatically charges the $6/month regardless if money is sent or not?3) I want to verify, is it $6/month per contractor for using the Direct Deposit feature? Thank you!
app playground works but when I try connecting from my server with the same settings and updated redirect url I get the error
We are running on a fiscal year, but for historical purposes I need a trial balance on a calendar year. Is it possible?
I'm interested in it using QuickBooks payments but it looks like I'm limited to only one deposit account. We have three separate accounts that will need to receive deposits through QuickBooks payments. Is there really only one account necessitating manual transfer process?
I’ve taken pics of many of my receipts but none are showing up on my iPhone. It’s been like this for a few days now
I have used QBO since 2014. I have it set up to copy all invoices to my email. I did not receive an invoice email Friday. I tried unchecking the box to send me a copy, closing QBO and going back in rechecking the send me a copy box. I then resent the email. Still no copy to me. I checked with my customer and they had not received it either. I printed the invoice to .pdf and emailed it to the customer. It was after QBO customer support closed.
QB changed my company name on invoices (we bill under a "dba") but our customers don't know that. I'm trying to edit back to the previous name and keep getting that error.
We started a new business and immediately began using Quickbooks to process our customers' payments. Over $20,000 was processed, and no payment has been deposited into my linked Wells Fargo bank account. I received emails from the Resolution Center saying they needed me to provide more documentation, which I did. I have provided Articles of Formation, Utility Bills, Banks Statements, customers' personal information, and more! I received green "check marks" in the Resolution center verifying that my information had been received and that I would hear back within two business days. It has been almost TWO WEEKS since this began.I have received NO information WHATSOEVER regarding the money that was taken from my customers and not given to me. I have followed up with my customers who say that the money has cleared and left their accounts. I have spent HOURS on the phone with the payments department, once I was even told that my documents had been approved and that my funds would
Two payrolls ago, I tried to submit my NYS-1. It was hung up in "submitted to agency". I realized it in time to make a manual payment through the state website so that I wasn't late. All good. Until a few hours ago when the QB NYS-1 also processed. So, I have one withholding payment in my QB system. What do I do to enter the other one and then get the overpayment back from the state? I've been looking around, and I am not quite sure how to handle this.
I am having a problem with Intuit Payroll filing and paying NYS-45, any one issue?
We have not filed Quarter 1 Form 941 or state payroll reports, but none of them are showing in Action Needed.
Quarter ended 3/31 so no reason why it won't let me click file & pay. When I try to I get a message box that says "This payment is not yet ready. We're making updates for this tax. It will be ready to pay before the due date, typically by the first or second week after the period ends. Please check back then." We are now past the second week after the period ends.
I have been getting a error message for a month.
We have credit card expenses that we charge to customers. I accidentally unliked some, and now I can't figure out how to get them back onto the invoice.
I need to run a profit and loss report from a speific date ending on another specific date. I cannot find where to enter the custom dates.
I have a case# for something I was told was a known problem and it has been worked on for many months. It is very important to me. Is there anyway you can view a case# on-line to determine where it stands? If not that would be very helpful and would save some lengthy phone calls.
I haven't been able to import Chase banking transactions since December for one of my clients. The original error was fixed with case number 15132677765, but now I get error code OL-222 and Intuit technical support is stating that this is on the bank side and not QuickBooks. I called the bank and they are telling me that they no longer support QuickBooks and therefore can't do anything to help. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?
