This has been an issue for some time where I am getting typically 2-4 emails per day from QuickBooks-Payments merchant services. Which is annoying because this is simply a waste of my time having to review each email in case there is some sort of mistake. Starting about a week ago I had over 30 emails in one day in my inbox, all identical sent to me, I was literally deleting them almost as fast as they were coming into my inbox. Now its happening virtually every day and its hard to understand how or why this is happening other than it being yet another example of Intuits incompetency...but it must stop!! This is just a snapshot of what I get now.

I wonder if you can assist me, I have 2 clients I have to refund money to, unfortunately we could not suppy their order as there is no stock for a while to come, and they had already paid and want a refund of their money paid. What is the process I follow, I have the 2 invoices, one was in February and the other in March so the February month I had already reconciled, I then went to create credit memo/refunds then that made no difference to my bank balance, so what am I doing wrong, I seem to find info for windows on the internet but not for my mac desktop 2019. Should I delete the invoices as currently I will also be paying vat on products I never supplied and its still recording the sale which didn’t happen as I have paid them back already. Kindly assist if you can with a step by step process. Thanks in advance.
I need the direct phone # to Quickbooks Risk Department because they won't release funds to my bank account and I am literally going to lose my business because of it. The Payment Department will NOT give me thier phone #. All I want to do is speak directly to the case manager so he/she and I can quickly work together to verify all that needs verified right then and there so I don't lose my business. It is absolutely infuriating I'm not able to speak directly to the "Risk" people. Truthfully I don't think this verification process stuff should take more than a few minutes. We could even do a 3 way phone call with my bank and/or my customers if needed. This is unreal. Feels like a bad dream. I am new to offering electronic payments to customers. I had no idea Quckbooks was going to take my hard earned money like this and just lock it away somewhere and the people holding it won't even speak to me. Please someone give me Risk department direct line. Help me out of this terrible nightmare

My QuickBooks 2019 Pro Desktop is set up for automatic updates but I keep getting notices when I open the program that updates are available and asking if I want to install them. Isn't the whole point of automatic updates to avoid this?
Hello,What is the best way to categorize payments to credit cards? When I record as Credit card payment or categorize to another bank account (clearing account), I still see 2 transactions for the same amount during the reconciliation of bank and credit cards accounts. Clearing account approach worked fine for bank to bank transfers but still an issue having duplicate transactions in regards to credit card payments. Any ideas how to resolve the issue to have only 1 transaction in the reconciliation window for the bank or credit card. I appreciate your response. Thanks

I have a $1,000 project where I require 50% up front and the remaining 50% at completion 3 months from now. I am on accrual accounting. What's the best way to do this? I see two options1. I send two invoices now. One on 4/15 for 50% deposit of $500 due upon receipt and another invoice 4/15 with a due date of 7/15 for the remaining $500 balance. This will show the total $1000 in my A/R as of today, but I don't really want to send a second invoice this early with a due date for 3 months later. 2. Send one invoice now, 4/15 for the 50% deposit and a second invoice in July for the remaining 50%. This won't show my outstanding 2nd half until I invoice for it though. What's the most proper way to bill this $1000 project with 50% down under accrual accounting?
I have spent 20+ hours communicating with dozens of QuickBooks online and payroll agents and opened 4 cases. Unfortunately, they closed without resolving the issue, and no one bothered to provide a status. The issue is that Quickbooks kept withdrawing money from my bank account and not paying taxes to Texas Workforce Commission. I am sharing the case numbers here since I could not find any resolution from the Quickbooks agent. It seems there is no accountability whatsoever. I have never experienced this type of unprofessional service. We just turned on Automated Sales Tax to learn that it does nothing for us because we converted from desktop to online in 2019. During the conversion all of our city tax rates were converted in the "Custom rates" and per QB rep, automated sales tax center isn't updating the rates because we have customer rates which is taking precedent.1. Is this correct?2. Does Automates Sales Tax work correctly enough now that it is worth changing to it?3. QB Rep checked and said there was NO WAY for us to delete the custom rates so that Automated sales tax updates would work. Is that correct? Can we make the custom rates "INACTIVE" and then they would work?4. If we have to continue with Custom rates, the 400 entries come up in no obvious order and we can't sort on any of the columns making updating an absolute nightmare. Can we quickly get a sort feature on name or rate? Or tell me if there is an order that isn't obvious?

Hello! I am utilizing Weekly Timesheets and have the team setup as enter time only users. I have setup all of the price rules for all of our clients and added all of our projects to them. When working on the Weekly Timesheet screen, sometimes the rates port over and sometimes they do not. Is anybody else having this problem or know what I can do to fix it?
