Hello, My inventory value isn't showing up correctly in reports. I'm running the inventory valuation summary and it's only showing for certain items. On top of that, it's only showing the value based on our COGS prices for each assembled final product, and I need it to reflect the wholesale value of what we have in stock to get a good snapshot for what value we've carried over in the beginning of the year. We sell B2B, and Ecommerce, but if I can at least get the wholesale projected value, I can extrapolate the ecommerce value based off of our speculated sales reports from that based on trends and 2023 sales figures. Can anyone help me with this? This report is totally f***ed up and I need it really bad. Thank you in advance for any help with this that you can offer. It is very much appreciated. 🙂
What happened to the automatic match selecting for sales receipts in my bank deposits? I used to be able to select a date range for my sales receipts that haven't been matched and it would automatically find them. Rarely I would have to manually match them. This is very cumbersome now that it's missing. It's gone away after recent updates to the match selection screen. Am I missing something?
I transferred funds from one account (PP) on 12/31 to (CK), but it didn't post there til 1/3. They are in two different QB files the first in the prior year and the second in the current year. How do I show this transaction in each file? Using QB Desktop 2020

I like how downloaded bank transactions are automatically categorized and/or matched, but when it comes to reconciling, the automated reconciliation is never accurate, and I need to go through it manually anyway. clearing all the checked transactions is simple enough, but if I start the reconciliation and then, for instance, remove the "statement ending balance" filter, then QBO once again automatically selects transactions to be reconciled, undoing the selections I just made.
I've been at this for the better part of this week and maintaining the connection with American Express is simply not happening. I can connect and download my transactions for certain, but the connection is lost immediately afterwards and therefore, I have to re-enter my login information every single time. I've contacted customer service on both ends, but nothing resolved yet or any solid ideas on how to fix this. Does anybody know what's going on, have a suggestion or guess at what I can try to maintain this connection as QB suggest can be done? Please let me know and thanks in advance.
Hi, I am needing to run a report that is showing Customer Sales by Class that also includes the Customer address on the same report. I've tried to customize multiple reports in Quickbooks online and can't seem to find one with both the customer address, sales and by Class.
We use QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise Premier Plus Edition 2024 Multi-userWe use Outlook to send forms - We DO NOT use Web MailWe send batch invoices to customers (send forms). How do I add an email to the drop-down menu for the "From" email address? The only instructions I can find are for Web Mail - Edit > Preferences > Send Forms > (and then there is only an option to add email address to the Web Mail e-mail client)We have three users. Our Accounts Receivable has to manually type her return email address every time she sends batch invoices. We see a drop-down list that only lists the email address for the owner of the Intuit account.
I recently started receiving emails saying I have a case that needs to be closed. The text is below. But I can't find anything in my online account or any direction as to how to fix this situation. Does anyone know what to do with this? This is a follow up to case number 15132764247 sent on 03/19/2025. As of this notification we have not received a response and this information is critical to supporting your account activity. You can buy checks that have 3 checks per page. Quickbooks software can handle the 1st page to be a single check left but I can't find a printer that can handle it. the ones I have tested can print the 1 check left on the page but it thinks something went wrong so it doesn't finish the printing or the other printer I tried jams every so often and you have to put the checks face down which is just annoying. Does anyone know a printer that can properly handle 1 check left on a page?
What happened to the trash can on the right side of the line items on invoices for deleting the line items ? Now there are three dots I have to click on to choose delete?
Cannot find any specifics
I exported my company file from QBO to Enterprise 24 recently and ever since while trying to reconcile accounts, it is including ALL transactions ever reconciled and zero'd out in the reconciliation process (which goes all the way back to 2009!) but now they all show up as zero'd out, no amount on the transactions, but as unreconciled. Why is it doing this and how can I make it stop including them on the reconciliations without having to go back and mark thousands of transactions as cleared? I don't have time for that! Thanks.
Qb Data is on a server and 4 users can login. The popup happens randomly and locks the user out if they try logging out and back in. The error message is "You need to download the latest File Doctor. This update includes new fixes for many errors that can stop your company file from opening"Quickbooks support had us run all updates, install File Doctor, repair data file using utilities, and rebuild data.Clean uninstalled and reinstalled QuickBooks 2022. A temporary fix is to log all users out of the database and log back in. Any solution to this? The issue started a week ago on 12/13/2024. The database size is 400mb.I really appreciate any help you can provide.William
I went to run my quarterly MI unemployment report and the balance owed was $0 which I knew was incorrect. I then noticed a new Payroll items account had been added on 2/20/25 with the title above. This had a small balance owed. After spending HOURS on the phone with QB payroll agents (with less than stellar results) and doing my own research I finally got my report printed correctly. What I found was that QB had installed this account on the recent update and apparently disabled my original UI account. So what happened was a small amount was going in to the new account and NOTHING into the original account. So my balances were all messed up. I contact my state UI agency and asked if I was supposed to be paying this "wage base increase" and was told NO. So I am very frustrated with QB right now for wasting almost 2 days trying to get this mess sorted out. I just want others to be aware - check your payroll liability balances! &n
Emailed the IRS Notice, received a message it was received but no further contact received.
I have been charged for Quickbooks for over a year now and I don't use the product, never signed up for it. We just missed the charge on our bank statement until a couple months ago. I have spent hours with Customer Care, Tech Support, Billing, transferred from department to department. The problem is that none of them see an account for me and the Charge Lookup feature shows no charges. And yet I am being billed each month on my bank statement for $99 from Intuit for Qbooks. There is a reference number next to the charge: Onl0000756346. I know this is tied to Intuit because when I search this number on Google I get a page of Intuit links mainly taking me the the Charge Lookup tool. Can anyone help on this?
I use a third party vendor for billing that is then imported into Quickbooks desktop. I want to be able to (at the end of the month print all the invoices to send out to the customers. The problem with income tracker is it only shows invoices that have a balance owing. I have several customers that pay ahead and I need to be able to still send them a monthly invoice showing what their current balance is. A statement will not work as it doesn't provide the detail that an invoice provides and sending the invoice with the the statement defeats the purpose of what we are attempting to accomplish
I have logged in to QBO to discover the new PayPal App. Payments from PayPal used to be automatically matched to open invoices and this is no longer happening. I have spent hours trying to figure this out and in the For Review tab under App Transactions / clicking on the payment there is no option anywhere that lets me link a payment to the corresponding open invoice. How do I do this?
I double imported my vendor list and want to simplify it, is this possible?
We decided to use QuickBooks for our newly started company and what a colossal mistake that was. After QB approved our application for a checking account and to receive online payments, our first client duly paid a 5 digit sum via the generated link. At that point, QB cancelled our account without informing us and kept the money in their account. We only found out after a week when the money was still not deposited into our bank. After days of pleading on the phone and messages, we had a collection of contradictory information and still no answers. At this point, as far as we can tell from piecing everything together, QB has made a decision to terminate our account (and that they don't have to and won't explain why) and that the payment was being held indefinitely. That's correct - they wouldn't return it to the payer, they wouldn't release it to us and perhaps most importantly, they wouldn't tell us why or for how long or how it will be resolved. They just kept our money. It has now b
