How do I 'expand' the item 'Provision for liabilities and charges' in the balance sheet. Only the total shows - there is no '>' to expand.

New credit card won't link to QB online."Sorry an unexpected error has occurred. We could not fetch your accounts from your bank". I get this error at the final stage after logging into the bank successfully via quickbooks. I've spent 30mins on the phone to QB support today but they were no help. I have saw other posts on here with the same issue. Help please?
Does anyone know how to update the reserves on the balance sheet for charity accounts? We would like to somehow summarise the lines for 'Retained Earnings' (RE) and 'Unrestricted funds'. But are unable to have the RE as a sub account. Can anyone help?

Our employees are set up for for "Payroll Giving" deductions (to donate to charity from their salary).Our company has now agreed to match their donations, or at least add/contribute to their charity donations.How can this be done within QB (advanced) Payroll?I.e., when we run payroll it automatically applies a deduction for each employee which we then pay on their behalf to their designated Payroll Giving Agency. This works fine in QB.We would now like to add an amount of our own to their charitable cause. How can this automatically be done?
I have two 'deferred tax' accounts as sub-accounts of 'provision for liabilities'. When I print the balance sheet these simply show as 'provision for liabilities' as one item, there is no breakdown shown.
I have connected both accounts to QuickBooks. Bank A received a loan from the director. Bank A then transferred some of this money to Bank B. They are both business accounts for the same company.
Hi All Is the update below correct? Does this mean we can continue to use our QuickBooks Desktop Pro 2021 software post the end of May 2023 or June 2023 depending on which update you look at? If this is the case, can anyone explain what is classed as an "add on service"? Will we still be able to pay VAT? We don't use the payroll function so that should not be an issue. We have a test migration running on QuickBooks online and the amount of functionality that has been removed makes this option totally unworkable for us. It's so unbelievably bad that I would be laughing if wasn't so desperate to find an alternative solution. Why on earth would you scrap such a great software package when there is no directly comparable product available in the market?! It makes absolutely no business sense at all! So, I enter a sales receipt on 30/05/23 for £12.00. There is a deposit into my bank account on the 6/04/23 for £11.82. I want to match the two and resolve it to show 0.18p for processing fees. When I click find match - it doesn't show the Sales Receipt. However, if I click on a different deposit for £33 on the 5/04/23 it does! This seems to be totally hit and miss - sometimes the Sales Receipt shows up to match and resolve, other times not. Any idea why? Or is QB trying to be too clever?
How do I record bank interest in a bank account that cannot be linked to Quickbooks. I managed to do it three times without problem using the "New" and "Bank Deposit" menu but then when I tried to do it again, I was presented with a completely different menu which doesn't accord with what I need e.g. making entries about "cash back". There doesn't appear to be anywhere to enter the actual amount of the deposit. See attached menu which now comes up.
Hi, I had to delete a payroll entry, now when I try to re-run it says employee is ready to join pension but won't let me run pay-roll even though I'm sole director and have opted-out of pension. All settings are correct in employee details. I have read through all the related queries on the forum and there is no solution for my issue.
How do I stop workplace pension in the middle of the year? My employees opted out of workplace pension in M12 but when I make that change, the system assumes employee was opted out the entire year and ends up giving refunds in the payroll.
