QuickBooks Q&A

Hi. I have an accountant who looks over my book keeping in order to make sure I am putting things in the correct areas and splitting home office and main office details. I am unable to find a way to add an accountant in the UK version. It says in the community posts it can be done on the Us version but not the UK. Surely this is a needed feature so our accountants can also get access when needed rather than having to share our username and password with them. Regards, Lee

I've been using QB's for a couple of years and all has been good - but when I was away I used my phone app to review transactions. On going on to the PC version it is showing a VAT column for all expense transactions. There is a VAT tax page which shows a filing date - despite never being registered for VAT. I've tried help but unfortunately the office is closed. I'm unsure if I've been hacked or why VAT is now showing up. It is showing in the settings - no tax, but nothing changes on the transaction page. It still contains a VAT column and as I don't have VAT info for the expenses I can't categorise them. Any help would be appreciated.

I’ve just started using QB self employed.completed first invoice but forgot to record on it that the CIS has been deducted.how do I add this going forward , can’t find it anywhere?thanks
The Bank Rec in QBO leaves a lot to be desired. One problem is that one cannot print a Reconciliation report in the middle of the reconciliation showing all reconciled and unreconciled items. The reconciliation report in QBO can only be printed once the reconciliation process is finalized. What can be printed during the Rec process is useless. Before finalizing the reconciliation activity or if there is a difference users are trying to hunt, the only way is to look at the interim reconciliation report with all the cleared and uncleared items and the difference if any. This is very vital as it helps users identify if they have wrongly matched the items or where is the difference arising from, among other things before finalizing the Reconciliation. Unfortunately this is not possible in QBO. Another problem is that users cannot undo the reconciliation. This is very silly.

I used to be able to tab forward to start a new line item while invoicing. Now today I go to begin on my pile of multiple 100+ line item bills, and when I tab forward at the end of one line to begin another it instead jumps to the "add lines" "clear all lines" "add subtotal" boxes, forcing me to have to use my mouse to click into a new line item each and every time. I honestly might lose my mind if they cant fix this. What is going on? I have signed in and out and refreshed and even restarted my computer and it keeps doing it, so this has to be something they updated. Please send help
