How do I delete a transaction in self employed? I have 'pots' within my actual bank account which I use to put my clients deposits and a percentage of my income for when my tax bill comes. I dont want these to be in my transactions as it just complicates things and is unecessary. At the moment they show up as transfers.... however no need as its still in same bank account! How do I delete it? It will only let me exclude it but I dont want them there at all. Thank you
Seems Quickbooks is having problems with HSBC this morning? Both my QBO accounts won't connect to their respective bank account with the below message.

Good morning, I have scheduled monthly client invoices for which I use GoCardless to receive payments. All the GC mandates are imported so everything is automated. GC have announced that from September they are to start charging VAT on their fees so can you tell me how the automated process will work. For example, if I have an invoice for £100 (incl vat), GC currently pays £99.90 into my bank account and QBO posts the £0.10 fee to my GoCardless Fees expense account. Once GC start charging VAT, their deduction will be £0.10 + VAT of £0.02. So the net into my account will be £99.88. Therefore my question is, will the £0.12 all be posted to my GoCardless Fees account or will it be split as £0.10 to GoCardless Fees and £0.02 to VAT Control Many thanks,Malcolm
I'm sure I've seen something about this before but cannot find it now. We have some employees whose standard hours of work are changing. They accrue their annual leave in advance, so for example, someone on 30 hours per week has annual leave of 150 hours at the start of the year. They are now changing to 35 hours per week, and I therefore need to increase their annual leave allowance. Is there a way for QB to do this or do I have to manually calculate the additional leave, and add it to a pay run (Accrue leave)? Ditto for someone changing from 37 hours a week to 30 - their allowance should be decreasing but again I don't see this changing automatically. Does it need to be calculated manually? It seems awkward to do so given I can change someone's hours in the system and apply future dated pay changes (but not future dated hours changes - which would be a nice feature, to be able to say "from 1/10/22 Beverly's hours change from 37/week to 30/week and her salary decreases
I keep receiving errors when trying to delete M12 pay run, please see below: I imagine it is to do with the fact that it's tax-year end and the final submission has been made to HMRC, however the first image seems to indicate it should still be possible to delete the pay run.
My VAT submission fails due to the above message. There are NO Exception transactions
pension contribution doesn't match nest account because of quickbooks rounding up
I use QB Desktop Pro Plus 2022. I need to VOID an invoice. No money was collected. I have searched for an answer via the 'Help' button as well as Google for my version of QB. Nada.Thanks.
NOT adding my vat details to MY invoices. I spent over an hour to customer service, and as usual, they were useless. Just cut and pasted irrelevant information about adding my vat info to the invoices I send to my customers.
I do not need tracking, just a number of volume for supplier invoices.
As per title, I never subscrived to this and I cannot log in to any profile but I receive emails and there is no unsubscribe from there. Trying to contact support but they just close the chat. Any help?
Hi, I have a holiday self catering business which I've just stared and I'd like to manage my sales and expenses through Quickbooks. Airbnb payments go into my Paypal account and Booking.com sales go directly into my bank account. For these payments to show in "Sales" Do I have to create an invoice for each payment? Currently I have just being going to Overview > Bank Account > Category or Match and making each transaction a "Sale", (see attached screen shot), but when I go to "All Sales" Nothing shows up, except the one invoice I created manually for a guest who booked privately i.e. not through airbnb or booking.com. I'm not sure I've even done this one manual invoice correctly as it is showing twice...please see screen shot attached. I am new to Quickbooks and any help will be much appreciated. Thank you. P.S I can't afford to pay a subscription to AIrbnb for automatic import at the moment and I've tried linking Paypal but it says this service is not available in
Hi, I am aware that Barclays Corporate customers could not previously have an auto feed into QuickBooks using Barclays.net. However, as you now support Open Banking, i wondered if this had changed and if Barclays Corporate customers could use an Open Banking feed using Barclays iPortal for permissions? Thanks

Hi All, Here's hoping someone can help... Supplier [Amazon] pays a refund [£100] into the bank account on [01/03/22]I create a Supplier Credit (supplier [Amazon], payment date [01/03/22], category [Sundry] and amount [£100])I create a Bank Deposit (date [01/03/22], received from [Amazon], account [Creditors] and amount [£100])I create a Cheque (payee [Amazon] and add both deposit and credit from the right hand side)I match the transaction on the for review tab All good... Until I run a P&L (on a cash basis) and I have Unapplied Cash Bill Payment Expense show up. It's zero, but it suggests the processing of my refund is somehow wrong. What could I do to make this Unapplied Cash Bill Payment Expense disappear?
How do I record this? monthly? Many Thanks in advance
