Many of my clients’ bills are paid by a 3rd party/another of their companies as a loan.Currently, I record this as follows.I’ve created a Liability account “Non-Current Liabilities - notes payable” for that 3rd party (Lender).for each bill they pay I create a journal entry to credit this liability and debit my creditor-supplier.I then match the journal entry with the bill to show the bill as paid and by that lender. This is a very long and tedious process, being that I have many such transactions. It also leaves a more complicated trail. Can anything simpler be done to make that liability account work more like a “Line of credit” except that in my case it is a long term/Non Current liability whilst the Line of Credit option is only available under Current Liability. Thanks, Lee

Want to make sure my invoice is sent by sending a copy by watsup

Hello, The director of our company uses his personal credit card solely for business expenses as it has a greater credit limit than anything the business has. The card is linked as a direct feed so expenses are recorded and categorised, with VAT claimed back on them. My question lies with how to record the transfers out to the director. As it his a card in his name, he pays the card off from his personal account, but the business transfers this amount over. Director's remuneration shows as an additional expense so surely that can't be correct. Do I need to create an account as director's loan perhaps? Thank you!!
Hi,I would like to hire a Quickbooks and Shopify expert to integrate QuickBooks in 2 Shopify stores (UK and Swiss stores) and do initial settings based on our business needs. Does anyone have suggestions where I can find such expert?Thank you
I have received an email advising that payment will now be collected from our customers account on the invoice date with payments 2 working days thereafter. However the charge date for our invoices is still being processed as 3 working days after the invoice due date. Can someone advise if there is an issue or if the new timescales are yet to be implemented?ThanksJason
We are a vretail business, so prices before VAT (net prices) are irrelevant to our customers. How can I get the value under the "Amount" column on my estimates to include VAT for individual line items? QBO only adds VAT to the subtotal at the bottom, which is useless as the quote may be a list of options that the customer can choose from, so the total is meaningless.
My Nationwide Bank transactions since yesterday are not listed in quickbooks but I can see them in the nationwide app.
Hi,I have signed up with HMRC MTD. Quickbooks informs me I need to contact HMRC. When I contact HMRC they refer me back to Quickbooks. Date for paying

Hello, I found this answer from last year saying this was not available at the time: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-uk/transactions/auto-email-invoices-when-created/00/785646 Is it still not a feature?
We have tried removing the email address and re-entering the email address which is what QB Helpline suggest but it hasn't worked. Some of my clients are saying they want to move to different software becuase of this tech issue. You can see on the invoice audit trail that the invoice hasn't been opened.
When raising an estimate getting error ‘QuickBooks encountered an error while calculating tax. Try reselecting the tax rate or reentering the product / service item and save the form again. I cannot seem to get it to work. Any advice or help please? Just upgrade my iPad to a new one and this error returns when I try to raise a new estimate.
