Is there any way to change the team member's email address in QB Time from that in QB? For payroll purposes, QB has the team member's personal email address but we require the team member's business email to be available for notifications in QB Time.
In "Sales Tax", the Federal tax current year (Jun1/23 to May31/24) is displaying, but the previous year (Jun1/22 to May31/23) cannot be found. I've tried deleting cache, private browser, different browser, different computer but nothing has helped. Any suggestions?
I sent a customer an invoice with an early renewal discount but he didn't pay within the required timeframe. Based on his payment history, I suspect he will eventually pay but I don't want him to have that discount anymore. How do I keep him from just clicking the payment link in the original invoice and paying the discounted amount? Is there a way to disable the payment link in the original invoice so that he has to request a new invoice?
In error, I entered a bill in two different ways and need to decide best way to fix. Entry #1 - done in previous quarter so GST input was processed with my last remittance. I entered it as a bill, and also entered that the bill was paid from my chequing account via debit. Entry #2 - done in current quarter so I am hoping I can still fix the situation on my next GST remittance since this is also my year end. I entered it as a cc charge because I paid it online and charged it to my business cc. I paid my cc balance including this bill. Entry #2 was what actually happened, so I am contemplating either voiding or deleting my Entry #1, including the bill payment. I do not know what it will do or not do to my "pay sales tax" process. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Hi, I'm using QBDT SDK to create and modify bills. I know that we can specify the sales tax code for a bill but is there a way to set the amount? In QBDT, the amount gets automatically calculated based on the particular tax percentage but it is possible to overwrite it manually to any value (see the screenshot - the tax percentage is 7% but I overwrote the value to be 10). Is possible to do the same via SDK?
Is there any way to retain my page setup between sessions? Everytime I get things set up the way I like it on my Customer page (eg. Type. Status and Date) it rests to the default as soon as I close the program.
Hello, I am trying to create a custom report in our Quickbooks Online account. I am trying to create a report just like the Income by Customer Summary report that is already in Quickbooks Online. However, I would like to add custom fields that I created for our customers. When I open the Income by Customer Summary report, it does not allow me to add these custom fields when I try to customize the report. How do I create a report that includes all of the data from the Income by Customer Summary report (income, expenses and net income) while also adding columns for the custom fields that I created?
I was trying to run payroll but getting this error "Update billing info to run payroll We were unable to charge your monthly subscription fee to your credit card." My Credit card is already charged but I get this error, does any one knows what's wrong ?I reached out to QBO Care for help , did screen sharing and explained error, more than 10 days are passed but problem is not solved and no communication from QBO. Did anyone faced this earlier?

I have QBO Advanced and have my customers grouped by Customer Types for as a way to identify Annual Subscription rate. I'm looking for a way to add an invoice (or bill, etc..) so that their annual subscription is automatically added to their account. I'm looking to automate this (if possible) so same product / fee can be added to a specific Customer Type. I have 6 different Customer Types in my system. Thanks

I work in healthcare and often clients have medical insurance that I bill directly that pays some of their costs. I am trying to show this learly on the invoice when paid in full that there are 2 different payment sources so the client is not confused.
I am using Quickbooks pro 2013, and I have been filling my taxes with the Tax Agency Report all those years. Lately, I did my report for the 2023-04 to 2023-07 period, but actually forgot to do it for the period 2023-01 to 2023-03. Don't worry, it's already been paid 😉 Trying to clic on the "File Return" with the period 2023-01 to 2023-03, gives me the error :"You cannot file sales tax for a period that has already been filed", but I actually never filed for that period. Confirming this, when I look at the Vendor Information transactions, I can see that the first quarter of 2023 was not filed. So, how can I force it to do so? Or should I just leave it there, and keep my receipts for future references? Thanks.

employee is paid full time salary, but, now cpp amount being calculated is different from the last paycheck even though gross pay is still the same? I haven't updated any settings in quickbooks - why is this happening? Other employees (part-time) aren't even getting CPP deducted and double checked and no tax exemptions are selected in payroll settings.
Hello - I have a mix of USD and CAD sales that I am reporting on. To show sales by project, I am generating the sales reporting using the newly developed Sales by Customer Detail report provided. The default report is stated in CAD equivalent using transaction rates in effect at the time of transaction. I would like to be able to show the impact in USD for my US Account Managers who get paid commission in $USD. There is no foreign amount field in the dataset - so I exported to excel to calculate the impact manually. I customized the report to add the exchange rate which displays perfectly to 6 decimals; my rate = 1.337981 . When I export the data to excel the fx rate rounds to 2 decimals - the previous rate is now 1.34. Any thoughts on how to capture the USD amount or the full fx rate with better precision?? Seems silly that this happens
