I printed a customer statement that i wanted to list all open transaction but it also list the invoice from previous years that has already been negated by a journal entry to declare it as a bad debt. Both the invoice (dab debt) and the journal entry appears on the statement. how do I make these 2 transactions disappear from the statement
Hello, I have a question about formatting item numbers for printing reports. One of my item numbers is SF-001. I would like to see this on a report. When I go to print a report and select 'Item', this is what I get: Sunflower Oil:SF-001 (Sunflower Oil Cold Pressed 500 ml / Huile de tournesol 500 ml) SF-001 is a subitem of 'Sunflower Oil' which we use to group items. In brackets is the item description. Why is it picking up all of this when I just want to print the Item Number. Any work around? Thanks in advance.
For some reason the wages cost allocated for some jobs are a bit off. For example I have a employee paycheque for one of the employees and the cost of the higher hours on a project is smaller than the cost for shorter hours for another project. For example this employee worked 14.00 hrs for Project 22106 as per qbo time and the cost of this 14.00 was 194.36 – on the other hand the employee worked 7.42 to project 22124 but the cos t is much higher than the 14.00 – technically the more hours worked on a project the higher the wage expense.

Hi, I'm confused about the QBO payroll subscription price, Can someone tell me exactly how much I have to pay a month?Below is the price list on QBO website QuickBooks PayrollAdd $20/mo+$4/employee/mo For example, If I have 22 employees, so the monthly payroll subscription price is $20+$4*22 =$108 plus tax??? Is this calculation correct??? Thanks
A client recorded about a year of payments all allocated to the wrong payment method. For example, all payments were recorded to a Current Asset account called Square Clearing instead of Undeposited Funds, now when I am trying to manually match the payments to bank feed, they don't show up. Is there a way I can bulk edit these transactions to make all of them go to Undeposited Funds? When I go into the Accountant Tools to Reclassify Transactions and enter the correct dates and select the Square Income Current Asset Account, the balance shows in the sidebar but none of the transactions appear.

We created a GST receivable account to have GST on purchases coded to this account - we are attempting to keep only GST on sales coded to GST payable, which will help us reconcile and file GST easier. I went to the Item List to change the account on the GST on purchases items but I can't edit any Sales Tax Items to change the path from the payable account. Can someone tell me how I can achieve this?I want to only impact any purchases made going forward (and will need to change anything entered this year already for January but do not want to apply it historically). Thank you.
Hello..How can I add a line in the footer section of the invoice to include the total number of quantity of items? My invoice template has three column quantity, rate and amount. In the footer section of the invoice I have a total for the amount column only, I want to include the total of quantity as well. Thanks

When setting up a Canadian Charity for payroll it asks the business number and RP number but since it is a charity it asks for an RR number which is not an option in quickbooks. Any advice?
Hi everyone, my latest batch of invoices is showing an error when I open them to look at on the iPhone or iPad app. Normally I would get a screen that shows all the details such as Sent, Viewed, Paid, and Deposited. This last patch of invoices shows text instead that just says “This transaction contains details that need to be edited on the web.” Any ideas? I’ve posted screenshots below of the differences.
