Horrible connection between quickbooks and quicktime. Every day I spent an extra 2 hours fixing our daily timecard. Job ids are not being downloaded seamlessly. We constantly have to refresh system in order for jobs to appear. In the meantime, my guys would have to clock-in on a generic job id until system is refreshed. End of day becomes a tedious process. This system has never been so bad until recently. I don't know what's going on but either it gets better or we'll find better. Luis Installation Manager.
I'm hoping someone can help. When I uncheck Auto calculate and manually enter miles in a time entry, QuickBooks Time does not save the mileage entry, and when I open up the time entry again, Auto calculate is rechecked. Is there any way to turn this off?
We have updated some payroll categories in MYOB however we are unsure how/where we can update these categories in Quickbooks Time so that when we run the MYOB report it will successfully import into MYOB.
The ability to filter Timesheets by current payroll period is functionality that was removed from the product within the last 2 weeks. This makes it very cumbersome for hourly employees to know their running total of hours entered for the current payroll period. Why was this functionality removed and can it be reinstated?
Has anyone been able to make Quickbooks Time app work / install on an Amazon Fire Tablet?Our company uses these tablets for our other time keeping app and these tablets are cheap and great for Clock In / Clock Out, but the QB Time app isn't available on the Amazon App Store. The Fire tablets don't have access to Google Play store, though they run Android system on them. I've tried some work arounds to install the Google Play Store, but have not been successful. I'm trying to use an Amazon Fire 7 Tablet - 2022 release date. Thanks in advance for any guidance!
How do we submit our timesheets for approval. We no longer see the 'Submit Time' button for manual timesheets.
Does intuit link to any eld vehicle devices to maintain a delivery driving record? With workforce time it's easy to track employees arrival but does anything link to smaller delivery vehicles so the driver of the vehicle would be known along with a better record of moving gps locations.
Several field employees use the Workforce app to enter time and labor types and submit timesheets. For the last two weeks, we have been experiencing problems with being unable to sign into the app, saying a company isn't assigned, the company not syncing data, timesheet data not syncing with the server, and the app crashing. We have done everything that was asked of us - reboot the phone, update the app, update iOS, sign out, and sign back in - sometimes it works, sometimes not. Sometimes, it works for a day and then fails the next. This week started with employees suddenly unable to select a labor type when creating a time entry. I was told that it was a known issue with some customers, and they were working on it to try again later. We had to stop making it a mandatory field so that they could enter and submit time. Two days later, I have most people unable even to open the app at all or can't sync. I have removed and reinstalled the app several times. I was once again told, "We
I forgot my QB Time login password and be able to login again using the one-time verification code through email. However, when I try to change the password under Profile. It diverts me to the page where I need to enter my password or the phone number. There is no way I can enter my password because I forgot my password, and the phone number is not in use anymore. Is there a way I can change my password?
We recently hired a new employee and I've entered all of his payroll information in Quickbooks (desktop). He was pulled into Quickbooks time (workforce) and everything has been working fine for a week with him clocking in and out. Today, I ran payroll but his time did not pull into quickbooks (I had selected use time data to create paychecks when hired). In the Quickbooks time, I chose the mapping tool but when selecting his name, I'm not given any options to map time. It tells me I need to set it up in Quickbooks first - which that was already completed. I've synced them several times. How can I map his account?

I cannot seem to figure out how to assign payroll items in QBO. When I try to export approved hours I can successfully export my employee's hours (paid hourly) but I cannot export my own hours (salary). I need to export my own for billing purposes. Using the Payroll Mapping Tool in QuickBooks Time I get the following message under my name only: No payroll items assignedAssign payroll items to this employee in QuickBooks first and re-import. I've gone through my pay settings in QBO numerous times, even switching myself to an hourly setting, but to no avail. Any solutions would be much appreciated.

We would like to disable the manual time card option for employees as we would like to be able to always see the clock in and clock out times. Is there a way to shut off this setting, while still allowing employees to edit their times on the time sheet tab?
Is it possible to restrict service items to specific customers? We have specific service items that we use for internal time tracking, and I only want them to be available to select when we enter our own company as the customer.
Hello, just signed up and configured Time for tracking timesheets with a contractor. They will enter a timesheet manually, logging hours per day. I have enabled the add-on for submitting timesheets and the online portal seems to work well. However, the issue with Workforce mobile app. The More > Submit Time screen does not have any dates listed to submit. The Submit button is grayed out. An under 'Submit Through' states 'no selection'. Nothing else is displayed on the screen. This is with a Android Galaxy 22Ultra and has the latest updates applied. Am I missing a setting? Any help is appreciated.

Our projects don't connect to QB Online time. I've read all the answers from the community and none of them have helped me with the issue. I put in projects everyday and when my boss goes to QB time, none of them are there. I have a link with instructions to Turn On Projects in QB's Online Accountant, but I can't follow it on my computer. Select SettingsSelect Company settingsSelect Advanced tabFind the Projects section and select Edit to expand itSelect Save, then OK to confirm After Advanced tab, I can't follow it.
I need to move a project number to another project number on an already approved tsheet. I was able to go in and unlock and unapprove the tsheets, then I edited the entry , saved it, but it is still showing up under the wrong entry (but with the correct code)

I have one employee who has been unable to turn in her time using the app since TIME moved to the Workforce app. When she logs in, she's only seeing her Workforce info. Oddly enough, she's the only one of our employees with this issue. We've uninstalled the app, I've re-sent reminders but to no avail. I've confirmed she has the updated app.
