Hello, looking for a feasible method for having employees enter personal vehicle mileage use on specific projects (through QB Time, Manual Time Card entry), then be reimbursed through payroll services
I am wanting to setup a permanent timecard that auto-populates weekly for my salary team. I want it to be simply and fast, so they don't have to clock in and out daily. Salary is suppose to be easier, the only thing they will have to do is enter their time off requests. Thank You
We now have multiple groups in QBT. Do I need to approve and sync each group separately when running payroll?
The QB Time PTO Balance report shows current PTO balances. Is this balance inclusive of current period unapproved hours, or only approved?
Starting on July 21, 2023 the GPS stopped tracking all employees. It will sometimes track one, but usually tracks none. The whole reason we started using T-Sheets was to be able to track our employees. Since QB has taken over, the system seems to have degraded in quality. Customer service is a joke as I have called multiple times, recieving all kinds of positive affirmations in the world for my problem, but no one has fixed it, provided a solutions, said the technical team is working on it, nor provided any good reason why. Seems just another QB reason to take your money and provide a subpar program.
Hello. I am setting up my company, and when I first opened my Quickbooks Online file, I began pre-entering employees, but then I deleted them because it appeared I would be billed for payroll users before I was ready to start using payroll. Now I have added the same names again, and they appear as duplicates in Quickbooks Time. The archive link is disabled in all of them because "Employees and Quickbooks users cannot be archived". In Quickbooks, they were deleted, not made inactive. How can I eliminate the erroneous items in my team list? Thanks.
08/27/21: We are in the market for a T-sheet type application that can sync with Quickbooks desktop. Ever since Intuit purchased T-sheet - the app has degraded. My name now appears as my email as my first name (which won't sync my time with QB). There is no easy way to call and fix it (Tsheets had great customer service support). After our fourth time trying to reach someone, we are ready for a new product! No more QuickBooks Time - the worst time-tracking app out there.

The update to the quickbooks time app is frustrating in many ways. One the new format is less intuitive than the old. Second it requires way more clicks to set your time. I don't want to click something else and then choose what I want. Reduce the something else with an ability to just drill down to the time category you want rather than clicking twice. I believe the new format is being forced on us. Tsheets did a way better job.
Is there a way to set up a location for clock in? My employees have a habit of clocking in and out at home instead of at work. They have the ability to clock in on their phones and I want to keep that without using a kiosk. I have location set to required and they can't edit their timesheets.
We use TSheets to track our employees' billable time. I would like to add the billable hours to each customer's invoice. Am I only able to add billable hours from timesheets that have been approved? We invoice every day but don't want to have to approve time cards every day.

How do I get rid of the (1) after my name in Display Name (see screenshot). I know it is synced with QuickBooks online but I can't find this anywhere in QuickBooks online. I'm not listed under Employees. If it helps I have QuickBooks Accountant. Under Your Team my name is correct - does not have a (1). Under Payroll there are no employees.
I use the Approvals Report every pay period to approve reported times on numerous jobs we perform throughout the pay period. I do this day-by-day, in other words, I select and view one day at a time for approval. I target a particular day when I have all the job files for that day, and once the customer has been billed, I then approve the time for that job. Some files are finished sooner than others so I bounce around on the days throughout the pay period quite frequently. What I have noticed is that entire days become approved for employee’s time even though I haven’t even looked at those days. My best guess is that if I approve some time on say the 24th of the month and then jump to the 27th and approve times on that day, everything in-between those dates seems to get approved as well (even though those days/times have not been reviewed). This appears to be a glitch to me. I’m not sure if this is the best place to report it, but perhaps there’s a better way to h
Is there any kind of search feature in the Scheduling app within QB Time? I'd like to be able to search a customer's name or customer number, for example, without manually searching through the entire month.
How do you sync an employee TS who was original setup as a vendor using the time sheet app?
in QB Time, can employees submit a single day (because today is the 31st our billing cycle ends on Monday of the week).
I have been trying to select "view details" on employees since Friday July 30, 2023 and continue to get an error that reads "Sorry! We're having technical difficulties. We've been notified of the issue. Wait a little bit, then try reloading the page. If it still doesn't work, chat with us for support." (see attached) Is anyone else having this issue? There is no customer service on the weekend, and I have a payroll needing run today.
Hi,When we were first setting up and trying out TSheets, we set up some test accounts which we want to delete forever from QB Time. They're causing confusion in the Archive with real former employees. Must be some way to DELETE from the archive? Thanks!Susana
After I am finished approving timesheets for the employees I need to do an invoice to the customer for their time but I have to manually enter the billable rate that we charged for each employees time entry. How can I enter the rate we charge out for each employee so it remains for future invoices?

Is QuickBooks Online Payroll required for this integration (QBO/TSheets) to work? My bookkeeper was trying to set up this integration and she was prompted to subscribe to QuickBooks Payroll before being able to proceed.
