how do you get an entered phone number to appear on an estimate
Hello! I’m trying to map QB desktop to Concur. Does anyone know what mapping to use to map Items? I’ve tried making a custom field in Concur but I’m still getting error and it’s not pulling in the item. Has anyone connected Enterprise to Concur?
In the desktop version this was an Assembly. And I would choose "Build" from the drop down menu. I need to know how to adjust the individual inventory items from which this Bundle was created?

I am trying to adjust past inventory costs. When I go to change the date I get the message "Please select a date that comes after the last transaction that used this item when you weren’t tracking it as inventory." I am using Webgility and need to change some of the wrongly classified accounts from non-inventory to inventory. This only works from today forward. I am wanting to apply the cost to last month's transactions. Any suggestions on how to do this?
I need both Invoice AND Change Order headings for Contractor billings. Can that be done with the new invoicing QB online
With the new invoicing, I can't seem to find a way to edit my invoice numbers. Some of the numbers are already duplicated in the QB file but not for the specific client. I need to be able to adjust the invoices to their own system.
after hitting the back button on browser, it takes me to a new invoice. I then have to either do a search for the invoice, or go to my recent ones. Very time consuming and not efficient.
This was a matter of checkboxes in the old quickbooks format, but I see no way to change this under the new.
I want to give a credit to a customer for being a good customer, then use that credit to apply against their next invoice.
One of my users just installed QuickBooks 2022 and now can't export one specific report to Excel 2016 (32bit). When trying to run the Client Ready Payroll Report which exports to Excel she receives an error :Unable to connect to QuickBooks - Error: 2147221000 : Method 'Get Module' of object IRunning Instance Info' failed All of the latest updates have been installed for Windows 10 Pro, QuickBooks 2022 and Excel. We've tried all of the normal trouble shooting items including uninstalling and reinstalling both QuickBooks and Excel.Any help greatly appreciated.
What happens when your customer list won't load but other areas are working?
An account you chose for a billable expense doesn't have an income account associated with it. Before you save this transaction, you need to make that association, or the income won't be reported correctly. Can someone help me correct this issue. QBO told me it was due to a random invoicing update
I have Quickbooks Desktop Enterprise Contractor 22.0. We created custom fields under the Additional Info Tab in our Vendor area for Gen Liability and Work Comp expiration dates. Four out of five of our Quickbooks users with identical permissions can see and access those fields. One user cannot. She can't even see the fields show up under the tab. Her permissions are identical to everyone else. What do you think is going on?
When I create an invoice from an estimate, shouldn't the estimate automatically be marked as inactive? Why isn't this happening? I just realized estimates where still showing penning when I sorted the income tracking by Type. Several jobs that have already been awarded, invoice and paid are still showing active estimates! And yes, each of the invoices for those projects were created from the estimate. So why are they still showing at pending?
Any tips on how to manage during a busy season for the business?
I would like to do a customer contact list, but only use customers I select. We could do this on desktop by filtering by customer and selecting multiple customers then choosing which customers go on the list. Is there a way to do this in QB online plus?
I wrote off a bad debt in ihe GJ as shown.When I run an aging report, it shows up as a positive and a negative. How do I get it to not show up at all on an aging report?
Hi, I have a question about record journal entry if I sold vehicle that use 80% in business.For example, The cost of basis for vehicle is 40,095, Business Use Percentage 80%, Accumulated depreciation is 22,479 , Sales Price is 9,597. On the Disposal summary report, there is no gain/loss because the cost of basis is calculated by 40,095 x 80% = 32,076. So, the calculation for gain/loss = 32,076 - Accumulated Depre 22,479 - Sales Price 9,597 = 0. As per below, what's account category should I record in debit for amount 8,019 to make the account balance and I can disposal the assets from my balance sheet? Ok, so I have been trying to figure out why some of my COGS accounts have negative numbers and or incorrect numbers. I am going to set up a basic scenario and describe what I am seeing and what I would like to see and let me know if there is a way in QBDE. Item - Piece of Wood - COGS Raw Materials $10Service - Paint - COGS Finishing $5Assembly - Painted Wood - Sales of Painted Wood $30 - COGS WIP (use default) Now, built 1 assembly and then sell it in a sales receipt.The PL shows sales of $30 and a COGS of $15 - good so far.The problem is that the PL is pulling in the COGS only from the assembly so it shows the $15 as COGS WIP. I want it to show the COGS from the item and the service. So it would look like this... Sales of Painted Wood $30COGS Raw Materials $10COGS Finishing $5Profit $15 Is there a way to do this in QB? If not, it would seem that all of my COGS end up lumped into one big bucket with no easy way to analyze where I am incurring
