Hi one of my clients is an orthodox church. They were originally on Quickbooks Enterprise desktop with another firm. Upon coming to me they wanted to go to QuickBooks online so I migrated them as that is my preferred version anyway. We have them on the Plus plan which allows classes, but their classes don't appear to have migrated correctly. It looks like only one side of the transaction is now classed (either the debit or credit side depending on which is the normal type of balance for a particular account) the other side is getting automatically dumped into "unclassified" rendering the clients balance sheet by class completely useless. When I migrated them over, there were zero unclassified transactions in the enterprise file Now one side of EVERY transaction that was in that enterprise file shows as unclassified as well as all new transactions entered having one unclassified side HELP!!!!! why is this happening? I have a Franchise tax account setup as a liability and it's not relieved after making the payment. It's still showing as due. Please advise Thank you
I would like to generate a report that shows total number of orders and total revenue for those orders, separated by class. I've tried most of the obvious reports but I can't seem to get the data that I need. I've done Sales By Product, Sales By Class & Item Type, Sales By Customer, Sale By Item... But no matter what I customize in the settings, I can't get these simple criteria to display. Anyone got any tips on how to get total number of orders for a given time period that breaks down totals by class? I'm using Desktop Enterprise: Wholesale & Manufacturing edition.

Like many churches we use classes as funds. What I want to do is transfer funds between classes/funds so we should income in the receiving fund. For example, as part of our budget let’s say we transfer $250 per week from our general fund to our benevolence fund. I know I can do this using a simple journal entry. My question is should I be debiting the donation account (or do you use a different income account for this purpose) of the general fund and crediting the donation account (or maybe another account) in the benevolence account? Thanks.

Hello, I am facing a problem relating to the management of BOMs or assemblies in QuickBooks Deskop.We are a car manufacturer and we therefore have many different assemblies with several levels (up to 6 levels).I would like to extract the detailed BOM for a car with details of each level which would allow me to extract the complete list of all the parts making up the carFor example :The assembly number of my car is: "CAR 1".This assembly is made up of 3 sub-assemblies:- GROUP 1 - Chassis- GROUP 2 - Engine- GROUP 3 - BodyworkEach of these 3 sub-groups is made up of sub-sub-groups of assemblies, for example in the 1st sub-group "GROUP 1 - Chassis":- Fitted frame (assembly made up of 10 child parts, for example) In this way, we have up to 6 levels of sub-groups, each made up of assemblies and child parts.I would therefore like to be able to extract the complete and detailed assembly of the car comprising the 6 levels of detailed parts.To date I have not found any solution to do t
The Reports option was listed on the Menu last night, but this morning it is gone. I tried to edit the Menu, but Reports is not listed as an option to add.
The IRS definition for Materials & Supplies appears to apply if you make items to sell. Not sure if that is still the case.
