I have a client, that owns a bike repair/ maintenance shop. He is building a truck for business use. He bought a truck body for 29K, suspension/equipment for 6K, bumper for 2K, etc. Should these large expenses be depreciated over 5 years? Other things like lights, doors, etc. (under 1K) I plan to expense as repairs/maintenance. Is this correct? Thank you.
I am using Quickbooks Online, and it shows me three reminder options, but I can't turn them on. Is this available in QBO?
Hello, I have an LLC, taxed as an S-Corp and run payroll for 6 employees. Last year QB told me I needed to upgrade in order to automatically sync my Gusto payroll expenses to a category. I did, then after much trial and error QB said they don't actually do that and I would have to run payroll through them if I wanted it to be categorized correctly. I downgraded back to QB self-employed and have just labeled everything as " contract labor". My accountant wants me to find a better solution. Anyone have any work around for this? Has QB updated themselves so that Gusto and them can be integrated? Thanks in advance.
emailed invoices not showing viewed on any account in invoice activity, they do show sent. (they have been Viewed} My other account does show viewed.
I have journal entries dated through 9/2024! It's only February! I am the ONLY USER on this account, so no one else made them as a reply to my question stated as a possible reason these were there?!.
For example, how much I spent on meals. Gas, supplies
"Invoices" have disappeared from my shortcuts in the QuickBooks online mobile app. I did not make the change. I just opened the app one day and it was gone. Does anyone know how to get that back?
a sahreholder distribution needs to be made every two weeks. I set the person up as a contractor in the system. Is there a way to set up auto-pay biweekly for this process?
I want to reimburse an employee one time and not have it done every payroll.
And if this is a recurring entry how do I delete it.
I am working through categorizing bank transactions for one of my accounts and the same charge is appearing 3 times in quickbooks. I've already confirmed it only cleared my bank account once, so I need to get these other 2 transactions off my ledger. How do I do that?
Changing the status back to "In Progress" and deleting completion date did not help.
QuickBooks ripped me off. Don’t know how they are within the legal system with what they did
Back in June 2023, I had some issues setting up my payroll, which prevented me from accurately reconciling an account. I have traced back the missing transaction to a payroll transaction that might have been deleted. I have searched for the transaction but I cannot find it. Can I just manually add the transaction and how do I do this properly so I can maintain accurate records? Can I manually re-add this payroll transaction since I may have deleted it?
Using progress billing on 2 clients. As of last week, when I attempt to create new invoice, estimate is no longer showing or applying previous invoices
