Hello, I want to pull my "open invoices" report with my customer notes attached for each "transaction notes". When you filter and select add "notes" column the notes do not show up. Anyone know how to get your customer notes to show up on open invoices? OR know of a report to pull to show how to track your notes on your customers when you call on past due accounts?
I can do a lot in QB (desktop & online) but this is one I cannot resolve on my own. Hoping my community can assist here.My client's work week is Monday thru Sunday. I have the payroll schedule set for that. HOWEVER< so I can properly allocate and report the costs & revenue recognition by week, I need to have the reports reflect accordingly. We display the P&L by week. As we know, QB defaults to the week being Sunday thru Saturdays when we ask reports to display by week. This makes things look odd when the week is split over 2 different months and we are only pulling a report for a specific month. (due to having to accrue the income & expense for the proportional week to account for it in the proper month for sales tax reporting purposes.)Any assistance/suggestions would be helpful.
Our week goes from Monday - Sunday, and not Sunday - Saturday. I tried to change the settings for "Time tracking", but that was only in "My Practice", and not for our company. There isn't even an option to change the day of the week in the company settings of our company... I know that I can customize a report to show from a specific day to a specific day, but I was hoping to be able to compare multiple weeks, as different columns next to each other, but with our correct start of the week day, otherwise the report we can get, in that format, is pretty useless to us. Is there a way to get our start of the week day for reports to change to our correct day?
As I was going through the books transactions I found that my husband had created a few invoices for example invoice 2190. In viewing how he created invoices I saw that the Products and Services are mostly correct for his hours with some issues of adding blood work tests requested by the customer but then he manually added Expanses with a brief description instead of linking the expenses from the bank transactions. Mind you the invoice above has already been paid for by the customer. Next questions: Do I duplicate and delete the paid invoice... to then correctly create a project add the hours and link the expenses? Or do I just categorize the bank transactions as his business expenses and not link them to a customer as they have already been reimbursed?
Is there a way (in QBO) to run a sales report that does NOT include the product/service detail. I need sales reports that include only the total invoiced amount - not broken out by all the products and services included in the invoice. Thanks!
If I were to update my item list names, would it affect the history when running reports? Meaning would it also update that particular item's history, or would a report show both? Secondly, if I were to update a customer's name, would the history be updated as well?
Using the app I take the picture and push the load button but then get a permanent spinner that says it's uploading document. It never finishes and the docs don't upload
I have QuickBooks Desktop 2016 Pro I have a backup (QBB file) from September where all the entries and reports are correct However, my accountant in the following months has posted some back dated entries in months prior to September, which has resulted in incorrect balances for prior months. Along with regular business GL entries in October and November, he has posted some entries which are incorrect in these 2 months as well. If I recover the September backup, all my October & November entries will be gone. Even the correct ones. I want to know, how can I recover the September backup, add the correct GL entries for October & November in that backup and restore that to a live file? I know the back dated entries done prior to September, can identify them, just don't know how to correct those? Is there a possibility that I go to my current live file, export the GL entries to a spreadsheet. And remove the incorrect entries done in October and November and then
