I've been using Mint for years. Last year I started using Quickbooks Self-Employed for my small business. When I authorize the bank feed in QSE I then have to reauthorize the bank feed in Mint or my account does not sync. Then, I have to go back and reauthorize the bank feed in QSE. Basically, one or the other app is never in sync with my bank. I called my bank, they said there was nothing they could do.

Hello! Our bank was having issues with Positive Pay and would returned checks to vendors for no apparent reason. One of those checks was cleared in last month's statement, but then Returned in my new statement. How do I fix this if the check was already reconciled?

I am trying to reconcile my QB and realizing that I am missing months of transactions that didn't automatically transfer. Can I somehow re-request these? QB shows I am up to date but these transactions need to be imported from my bank.

HelloI have a few transactions where funds are transferred from my savings to checking. It works fine and the transactions are posted and listed in my check register without problems. How do I assign an account to these transactions from my chart of accounts? If i change the account from 'savings' to the category I want, then the transfer disappears from the 'checking' account. I don't want to delete the transfer, just account for it in a category so it shows up in my detailed P & L report. I am sure it is very simple, but I am completely missing how to do this. Thank you
Been about 2-3 months and when my customers pay online directly to quick books in the banking transactions the lump sum of 5 customers payments are showing up as assign a category.
The username when connecting to TD Bank Account keeps changing to my QuickBooks Online username. I keep updating it back to my bank username, but it won't keep it. What is causing this? I can't download my transactions and am getting really frustrated!

My accountant wants me to send the register for 2021 and when I pull it up it only goes back a few months. Why won't it download the entire year?

Can I just change the name of the bank in the chart of accounts or need to make different accounts and transfer the balance to the new account?
Hi, I was thrown into handling this portion of the business and have picked up on the use of QB. ( we do have a CPA). But the beginning bank balance was never entered once it was connected. (from August 2020). So the balance shows a negative balance. Is there a way to "start fresh" with the correct balance for the 2021 year? So that I can utilize QB better? Thanks!
We created a bill for a vendor for $227.84 and then used Pay Bills to cut a check for that amount. It was mailed to the vendor, they deposited it. Our bank mistakenly processed it as $277.84. They then, as a separate transaction, issued a correcting deposit for $50.00 to offset the error.How can I handle this in the banking feed since the $277.84 doesn't match the bill paid entry, so it won't resolve against it on its own. If I go into find match and then 'resolve' it doesn't show the other pending deposit for $50.00 as there's no entry created for it yet, so I can't simply checkbox the bill and the deposit, and I didn't want to do that until I know if that's the correct way?
I am not getting an error message. the accounts (there were 2) were connected and updated. I have called twice and can not resolve the problem
