Has anyone found that QuickBooks online , doesn't add up invoices correctly ,For a accounting program not to add up deposits correctly. Making a deposit is easy , but it added them up wrong , all checks were correct, same numbers, but ti could not add them up to the right total. This is not the first time, I had reached out to quickbooks about the issue, but no one got back to me , even after asking a few times, I even started a chat with them to get no answers, even when I was typing in the questions they were asking, said I took to long I don't think asking a question that takes about 15 seconds to type in was to long , even when they take 10 minuets to get back to you.Just lookign for answers since quickbooks did not get back to me the 10 times I asked
I receive payments from BIll.com that cover multiple customer invoices. How can I allocate the balance due from each invoice to the specific payment.
The original account would not sync properly with my bank. so I was forced to create it again and sync it up. I'd like to merge the records in each so that they are all in one account in QB
i have tried several different browsers.
Before I started using QB online instead of QB desktop the main account and sub account were in balance, but not any longer. What to do? Merge? Inactivate sub account?
I am not using the online banking option at this time, not sure if that matters?
I would like to connect my bank account to my QB. Is there a way to do that from the desktop version? I have the Pro 2022 desktop version. Please help!
Some of my clients with rules have seen something turn on all the rules to "auto add"
I have spoken with a Quickbooks support person, and I was only able to reduce my efforts to connect a little. It can take me 10 minutes to sucessfully connect, and sometimes, not at all.
When paying a supplier via E-transfer, there are limits to how much can be transferred, so sometimes a single supplier invoice must be paid in multiple E-transfer instalments. How can I MATCH the single expense(supplier invoice) with 2 or more bank transactions (E-transfers)?
We're trying to reconnect it numerous times but still unable. Has anyone encountered the same thing?
I have dozens of rules that all have Auto-add turned on (green) at the bottom where it says "Automatically confirm transactions this rule applies to". Yes, IT IS ON. In the last 3 years I've had hundreds of transactions correctly tagged with these rules, but I have never seen one get moved from "For review" to "Categorized" unless I manually do it myself. Yes, the transactions are being matched. Eg they say RULE in the category or match column and "RULE APPLIED Bank Fees" in the details. What is auto-add supposed to do? Does it work for anybody else? Is there some way to force trigger auto-adding? The only time auto-add ever works for me is if I create a new rule while there are other transactions in "For review" that match it. Then, and only then, do they get moved from "For review" to "Categorized" automatically. When new transactions come in, they are never automatically moved.
