Before 1 year I am using QB desktop and process all accounting and pay roll in QB desktop, then our accountant left the JOB and we are stop QB desktop & then Now we are start with OLD back UP. but after start old back up direct deposit opting not showing in Employee menu. and also we are not doing Direct deposit to employee. help for this.
Does QuickBooks allow other time tracking categories besides Sick and Vacation? We are now giving people Floating Holiday Hours to use and want to track people using their hours, then show how much they have used and have left on their paystubs.
A client of mine is using Quickbooks Online Plus and Payroll Premium. They are able to pay contractors using direct deposit but are not able to pay employees using direct deposit. Each employee is marked as direct deposit instead of paper check in their employee settings. However, when they select run payroll, the employees show as receiving a direct deposit but when the payroll is previewed all of them revert back to a paper check. They have had support tickets on 3 different occasions with payroll support and no one has been able to figure out why the direct deposits will not work. Any one have similar issues or know of a resolution?

How do I terminate a child support garnishment that has been terminated by the courts
I have entered the WA SOCs that are now required for my 4th quarter state unemployment reporting. In the past I have uploaded the state SUI details into an Excel spreadsheet that I would copy to create the upload file. I tested that recently on a client whose payroll is now complete for the quarter, and QBs did not upload the SOCs that were entered for this employer. How do I access those codes, and is it possible to still create an Excel SS to edit for my CSV upload? Thanks.
We use Intuit's payroll program and want to make sure that the proper taxes will be taken out of our employees' checks starting in January.
Quickbooks Case# xxxxxxxxxx,It has currently been 3 weeks since having this issue with the payroll function in QB. I have not received any reply or update from QB regarding this issue. Every time I call I cannot get an answer. QuickBooks, have you given up on this?
My co-worker noticed the WA PFML tax is not being withheld correctly on employee paychecks. She has called and been in touch with advisor SEVERAL times over the past month and nothing has been resolved. A payroll tax person has been in our account and changed things, but never to the correct percentage. We have been told to go in and make the correction, but we no longer have access to that particular tax, all we can access is a dropdown list. Then unbeknownst to us, someone with Intuit Online Payroll did a Payroll Correction to all our employee paychecks for this weeks payroll. It is illegal to retroactively withhold premiums from employees and we did not authorize this correction. Intuit Online Payroll needs to be responsible for their mistake!!! It would also be nice to be able to talk to the correct people who can help you fix a problem, instead of person calling you and playing middle man to real person you need to talk to.Come on Intuit, you can definitely do a
